So I just got a message from steam guard that my account got "compromised", apparently two different IP addresses logged into my account from France about 9 hours ago. Steam gave me the option to change password - which I did and what worked...

My question now is: am I "safe"? or should I contact steam support and tell them to make sure? no items got stolen, steam wallet has the same amount....
Btw I had a really long password.

Here is a GA i made a couple of days ago :D

EDIT/UPDATE: Thanks A lot guys for the great help, i think I am ok now; As suggested steam, email passwords, security questions are changed, antivirus is runnning, Two step authentification is on, me feeling better ;)

Am I "safe"?

Yes don't worry
Better Contact Steam Support
No Idea

Enable the two step authentication and you should be good. Just make sure you don't do something silly like have your email password and steam password be the same.

Change the password to your email as well, if you didn't do it already. That + 2 step authentication should be enough.

Which would not be a smart security question since everyone who knows a bit about you could then solve it. Make sure it really is something only you and close relatives could know

I usually just give my security questions random answers like "What is the name of your cat?" I'd answer something silly like "spatula" or "Potato"

So, was Two Factor auth enabled or not for your email address and/or Steam Guard?
