Could someone explain Vampire Masquerade-Bloodlines to me?

It's a really good game. You're a vampire (you choose the clan and the gender) and you have to undergo some missions for the local vampire prince. You'll have to fight vampires and humans, but better not trust anyone. ;P

Its like Skyrim but with Vampires... well, you dont have the mobility of Skyrim, cant really go anywhere, but has a lot of different quest and different vampire powers / gameplays, its so good and i think there are a lot of mods that add more unoficcial content (and some unofficial fixes too)

first person rpg which is based losely on a pnp rpg with the same name... you play a vampire in modern times (LA if I remember correctly) who has to survive the schemes of several other vampire clans. very story driven, so expect a lot of reading and talking, gameplay was kinda meh as far as I remember, it was kinda open world-ish and there's a stealth part which was very poor, but I haven't played it in ages thus don't take my word on it. but I remember the story and character development to be exceptionally good.

if you decide to buy don't forget to google the community made patches, dunno if they're implemented in the steam version. restores the game in a big way like kotor2.

edit: oh yeah, and I remember some kind of rudimentary good-/bad-mechanic. depending on your actions and how much you terrorize the human population, you loose masquerade points (exposure of vampkind) or humanity (killing innocents)... was a good game back in the day.

edit2: and that video really is boring af, seems like the one playing doesn't really know what to do... i mean half the video it seems he or she is lost...
