Appearantly I don't know the amount of planets in the solar system. I had to take a second guess. Back in the old days there was one more planet.

Actually, it's considerd a planetoid, and there are many planetoid the size of Pluto in our solar system, including at least 2 in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, and many more in the kuiper belt (second asteroid belt in which lies Pluto).
If we count Pluto, we must count a lot more, including some a lot closer.

Not so. Pluto has some characteristics which distinguish it from other planetoids. That is why the argument continues among cosmologists. (If I remember correctly, the general opinion is once again leaning toward "planet.")
Quite a lot of fuss over a rock in the sky so small we can hardly see it. P

Though I didn't mean it that serious, I had looked it up before I posted it. The term is dwarf planet according to wiki. Since this term contains "planet", there's truth in it, though it's another classification.
