Is Csgolounge a scam site?
There are no bugged skins. Just an excuse to get your stuff and scam you.
There's 0 difference in reading out the item data from your inventory or if it would be in mine.
Btw.: it's a low grade knife, and even safari mesh, it's gonna take a while. Also on quite a market low atm :/

Not if you ask Valve and that's really the only opinion that matters

What are you talking about?
CSGO Lounge is seperated in two parts. Part 1 is the whole gambling/betting thing which is in fact something that Valve would probably like to see shut down (as they got sued for "enabling minors to gamble" recently, just google it). But that's not what OP is talking about.
Part 2 of the side is trading. The trading section on CSGO Lounge works exactly like the trading section here on SteamGifts, as you are only able to look for other people to trade with. There is no question that someone will try to scam or lowball you on CSGO Lounge, but that even happens here on SG as well as on every other trading site. Now, does that make SG a fishy or scammy website? Of course not.

They have a betting section that makes them instantly fishy and the bets are more prominent than the trades. If that wasn't enough their G2A ads are reflinks. That's just from the homepage if I looked around for even ten minutes I could find plenty more warning flags.

If it doesn't work sometimes - nobody would try it xD
which makes me sad

Lots of scammers, the middleman thing is usually a scam where someone impersonates a middleman and just takes your item

I will tell you a funny story
Someone at random adds me, he wants my 16 cs:go keys, and he would offer a very (very) expensive knife for it. "Sadly" that is his secondary account, and his principal account has the knife (obviously a impersonator, but wanted to mess with him for giggles).
He says that he couldn't trade with me, unless I traded a key to one of my irl friends to check if everything was alright (yeah right? obviously). He adds my friend, and put us together in a steam chat, and he says to close our private chat, which we didn't.
FOR THE NEXT MAGIC TRICK I receive a trade offer from someone that has the same name of my friend, wanting a key. He then used the same account to copy my name and do the same stuff to my friend. Obviously removed afterwards, but had a good time.
You will encounter a lot of "smart" scammers out there. If it isn't a direct trade don't do anything

Go away from Csgolounge. There are 95% only Scammer and Lowballer. In generality dont go to places that are specialized in csgo stuff.
You can check it by looking on trades on csgolounge. you will see that they offer there a skin that is something worth but if you check it with their inventory they have a lower grade of the same skin that is way less worth.
So again stay away from csgolounge nothing good comes from there.

Never trade outside of the Steam trade window.
Also when there's more than 2 users including you that come in to the trade it usually is a scam.
Also before any trade even if it's just a simple bundle game check Steamrep
Csgolounge is a nest of scammers, lowballers and dishonest persons.

You're so welcome and when you trade inside of the Steam trade window look until the last nanosecond that what you're trading for is really what you agreed on before the trade because there are dishonest users out there that like for example with CS GO skin, will swap the skin you agreed on with a skin that looks like it but is only worth a few cents.
When you check out traders/users on Steamrep there should be proverbial bells and whistles going of when your traders/users have one or more of the following: Trade bans by Valve, Steamrep banned and/or banned from other places; unconfirmed reports, users with (a lot of) friends that are Steamrep banned or trade banned, Vac bans, Game bans, private Steam profiles.
Also note that +rep on a user his/her Steam profile is worth exactly NOTHING and can so easily be faked and abused and especially when the rep is so clearly fake and generic. And if a Steam trader/user links to a high + rep Steamgifts trader profile, triple check that he's not an impersonator by using the Steamrep site.
Always but really always check them on Steamrep.

Even people with 100steam level or more can be scammer in this website:D+yes it's scam.
Check Csgostash website to find how many keys your item cost,14keys for your knife for example.

Definitely wouldn't trust that. Only trade if you're getting the keys in the same trade window as the knife.

Hello SteamGifts users
Recently i got a csgo skin (Knife) from a trade (15 days hold)
I don't play csgo and don't need steam wallet so i decide to trade it for csgo keys
Most traders offer to buy it 12-14 csgo case key although the skins cost ~ 40$ on the market
my problem is i get a lot of random adds on steam and they offer 16-20 case key (but) they want me to send the knife to admin (middleman) to check it if its bugged?
Is middleman a try to scam me? how i can check if the skin bugged?
Thank you for help
