Wassup my fellow steamgifters!
As the .5: The Grey Chapter stumbled down my mail slot yesterday, I went to heaven. It's the greatest album EVER! I've never felt anything similar, it is just unbeleviably beautiful.
This trip to heaven sent me to you to find out if there is any knot fans here. If you are one, I'd like to know your favourite song and your oppinion on the new album.

One more time motherfucker!
(And the St. Louis Rams won, yey...)

someone as posted the new album here on SG and this was all i found:
"I know why Judas wept, motherfucker"
it's not like i hate the band, there's even a couple of songs in Vermillion that aren't all that bad,
But damn, the lyrics are awful!

Sounds just like I remember it back in 2001. Not too bad.

HAIL SLIPKNOT!

Didn't really have time to check out the full album yet, but as usual with Slipknot songs I can't pick only one favorite (from those I already heard). Nor two. I think every one of them has that something that makes it amazing.

Not the best album, but yeah, i like it.

Mostly cuz Corey sounds like on Stone Sour. That 11. Goodbye is EXACTLY like Blue Smoke from HOGB P2 of Stone Sour. But Custer and Killpop are f*****n' awesome.

Still prefer Stone Sour than Slipknot.

Too soft. Try Meshuggah.

Can't find a metal band better than Meshuggah, they pretty much ruined metal for me.

Behemoth - cleaner than Meshuggah and has the best drums I've ever heard (my fav).

Heart of a Coward - metalcore actually, but the best one.

Kreator - hate his vocal but guitars are marvelous.

Just some underground metal that not so easy to find. Hope I helped a little :3

Depends on a taste, Stone Sour is definitely softer. I like them both.

A good album but some songs like killpop, goodbye and nomadic and if rain is what you want shouldnt be on a slipknot's album..Theses song sounds more like stone sour.
