Don't we always get such an amount due to various fees?

But usually 5% goes to valve and 10% to the publisher. In the case of event cards there are no publishers so 15% goes to valve (3 times more)
If you want to earn 1€ by selling a card, you will get 1€ and valve 15 cents (the buyer spent 1,15€).

And if the buyer decided to sell the same card again for the same 1€ valve will get those 0.15€ again. Endless profit till badge crafting.

Yeah, that's the point. Same card endless profit for valve until someone decides to use it.

This is why you need to include more than a one sentence rant "I'm angry..."
You did not show or explain anything. A seller lists a card for $.12; The seller gets $.10; the buyer pays $.12.
This is how it has been for years.
You are claiming that there is a special "steam award" fee attached to the sale of a holiday card only?
Using my example. You, the seller received only $.07 because of an additional (undisclosed !!) "award" fee??
I would be mad too, but you need to explain yourself better or you see the tremendous amount of misunderstanding
that has resulted for your one sentence outrage.
Fine. Buying. You claim that you have to pay $.15 for a card listed at $.12?? (holiday cards only?).
We have no idea what you are talking about until you tell us. Use your own currency, or an approximate example like mine.

Of all the "injustices" in the world to get angry about...
You, sir, are a towering phallus, and a snivelling cheapskate of the highest order.

Let me clarify, when i buy something, i have to pay a fee for using the market (i'm ok with that) but now, i got charged for another extra fee, that's my issue, and no, i'm not going into madness, not that kind of angry, maybe i used a heavy word, next time i'll try to be more carefull.

OMG, you got free cards and complaint about fee market ?
-_-

If you are buying anything from steam community market such as trading cards, you won't need to pay any sort of fees . However , the seller who is selling anything on the market will be deducted a 15% fees.
And there's no such thing as " steam award fee"

Funny seeing all the "free money from Valve" comments, as there are no free money from Valve here. All the money still come from the people who buy cards. So, Valve just pokes the community market with a new feature and capitalizes on fees keeping both its own and the publishers part of the fee for these items.

I'm angry, we get charged for selling a card, and now get another fee from the "steam awards"?
Sorry to all of you, it was completely my fault, i said selling when actually was buying, my english tricked me there.
Again, my issue is with the "steam award fee" happening when buying a card.
