I have much wind but great sun and when the windows are closed it is very warm when i sit in the sun and read a book. Spring weather (really great) :o)
And on the balcony i can sit in a T-Shirt too ... but not really warm (to much wind)

We had temperatures of 45 degrees in the region where I live during a couple of weeks in the summer, I was throwing my head under water every 5 or 10 minutes or so... it was dreadful. But yeah, at least it's not humid, so... small blessings? ^^

Chestnut trees grow quite big. Of course, you could trim them, a couple trees could easily fit in our garden. But cleaning all those leaves? No. I have enough of the kiwi ones :c
Leave those trees in the woods :D and enjoy a walk there.
I usually go alone with a bottle of water and something to eat in my backpack . It's ponderous to drag my fat ass over there (the path to get to the place is quite steep), but the tranquility you find is soothing and well worth the effort. I usually spend at least a couple hours wandering, picking up chestnuts (and possibly mushrooms, but there aren't good ones where I go for chestnuts) and sitting on a rock from time to time to rest and admire the landscape and the colours of Autumn.
The only thing I suggest you is to bring a safety helmet to protect your head from falling chestnuts and especially burrs!!! D:

Those leaves would annoy my too, a thick pack of rotting wet leaves meh. We dont have hills/mountains here sadly and only a few chestnuts trees but I know where to find them ^^ I'll go on the hunt hehe

Unfortunately your country, despite being very beautiful (I've been there twice), is not my cup of tea. I don't really like when the only thing I can see above me is the sky.
I recently came across this, a short clip made by the regional tourism agency, which shows some of the things you can see in my region. In that channel you may find some very beautiful drone footage clips, too. These show very beautiful images of nature and castles/fortresses/villages built on hills and mountains.
I knew some of them but those clips really show awesome stuff I didn't know of <3

It's raining cats and dogs, the wind is blowing the hair off my head and it is damn cold. So I thought time for a Jigidi, inside where it is warm.
