You are either too young or too ignorant if you only just noticed that tbh :)
I'm honestly sick and tired of people trying to shift the focus to whatever other thing they think its more important in their opinion .
its not the first or second or sadly not even the 10th time in modern history woman and children are getting bombed inside hospitals , and humanitarian aid is getting looted while volunteers are left out in the middle of nowhere or just flat out killed .
But i honestly do think that the global uproar its causing might eventually lead to people shifting their focus to those whatabout issues people seem to keep on bringing up and maybe just maybe at that time after we solved that current shitshow in Ukraine might be the proper time to start focusing on other issues one at a time .

Mainstream media knows which side the people should support. If MSM covers it extensively, must be important. If they paint a certain narrative, it must be the fact. If they vilify a certain group, then that group should be jailed or have their bank accounts frozen or something (ref to truckers). Always trust MSM (double) standards and don't think about it. #sarcasm

Maybe sort shit out in your own Emirate before coming on here with your whataboutism. You're blatantly ignorant about a large portion of European attitudes towards Israel re Palestine too. I'm assuming you're fairly young. Acting like you've uncovered some kind of secret. This exact same thing happens on micro scales too, anytime an African or Bengali or Jew is racially abused or discriminated against in Abu Dhabi, it goes unreported and ignored. Cop on to yourself and the world around you."Ignorants who refer to this post as whataboutism are generally opinionated and will only repeat what the corrupt media shows them." Clown. What kind of response are you expecting with that statement?

Wanna know the truth? It may upset a lot of people but the reason is clear: Interest, money and control.
There's little gain from super-countries to get out of the conflict. Ukraine has one of the largest oil resources that is threatening Russia at it's part of the reason why it invaded Easter side and Crimea. Ukraine also has a large section of wheat that is capable of supplying Europe.
The average person may as well support the injustice for Palestinians, but again, there's little voice coming from news from there. If I turn on the news now, all they speak is about this War. There's a constant war between Israel and Palestine and you can't even hear the conflicts anymore unless you deep research. The media doesn't care sharing the news, so therefore, everything goes under the rug.
I agree, that we should not have such stuff happening and only some people get to be helped. Look at Humble Bundle, raised a charity and raised £5,801,940 in 24 hours or so. You'll not see that for other countries affected by war. Why? Idk, racism or religious discrimination doesn't seem to die off.
People all get heated conversation about racism in their country, but I do believe there's something to do with issues between countries or races even if we like to admit this or not.
Ukraine has been a waking call for a lot of people, including myself of what atrocities are happening in this world. I wish more people would become conscious and from all this Ukrainian and Russian conflict, we can move our attention to other countries and their problems. Only together we can work things out and destroy racism and religious discrimination across the globe as much as we can.

You are right. Palestine is ignored and less people care about them than should. But I will tell you that the same people who cheer on Russia invading Ukraine also cheer on the invasion of Palestine and annexation of Palestine by Israel. In the United States the Isreali-Palestinian conflict is generally not well understood so I don't get too upset with people unless they are actively involved in politics. If they are, they should know better. Defeating Putin is a universal good that doesn't hurt Palestine.

So it's really inhuman that Vladimir Putin is invading Ukraine and persecuting its people, fine, but why is it okay for the Israeli government to persecute the Palestinians? Everyone who got something to say against the president of Russia, are they all located witin 500 miles of the war inflicted areas? Why then turn a blind eye when it comes to Israel's oppression against the Palestine and its people which has been going on for decades?
I personally know a Palestinian family that fled to Lebanon, got Dominican Republic passport and settled in the UAE because of the oppression of the Israeli government; a colleague who lost his older sister in the bombings of Syria and never got her dead body; a friend who, after graduation, left for his homeland Yemen and his whereabouts are still unknown to this day. Ignorants who refer to this post as whataboutism are generally opinionated and will only repeat what the corrupt media shows them. At least I don't sound like a broken record. I ain't here to divert attention from Ukraine but no one race or group or country deserves more sympathy than the other just because they are in europe. Butthurts can go ahead and blacklist me, see if I care.
