Civilization V vs. Torchlight 2

well TL2 and Civilation V is totally different

but i think i chosse TL2

Yeah, it's totally different game. If you love grand scale strategy games, choose Civ5, but if you not go for TL2.

T2 only if u have friends with it.

If you like hack/slash/lot games, choose TL2.
If you got friends which play TL2, choose TL2.
TL2 is 10 times better than Diablo3 and it´s even really awesome just to play it in sinleplayer.

Civ5 is a good strategy game i think, the expansion should be very good too.
I got Civ5 in my library but I´m to busy to play it =)
If you like games like Civ5 you could have a look at Warlock: Master of the Arcane. It´s like Civ5 with a Fanatsy setting, but more War and lesser politics. It´s on bundle sale at greenmangaming for 50% off.

If I´ve got the choice, I´d buy TL2 again before the other titles. It´s fast paced funny action and worth every Cent, even for the full price =)

if you have someone to play TL2 with then I defiantly suggest that over civ V

if games would be drugs i like to "taste" to take every type of drug.
I have some good strategy games in my account, racing, shooters, but no games like torchlight 2 (titan quest is ok but torchlight 2 is better by far).

So i am considering between eating something new like torchlight 2 and eating something old and good like civilization. You people here say torchlight will be "delicious" in multiplayer if i would have someone to play with, but i have no friends that have torchlight 2 :(((

on gamefly site it says torchlight 2 + pre order bonuses, i know on steam the pre order bonus was : torchlight key(the first one).
to bad when i activated the cod from gamefly i got only torchlight 2, but anyway is still good offer.

I'd go with Civ V, but since you have Total War then you should probably buy TL2

I would say civ5. TL2 is all diablo3 should have been, and a very good game both single- and multiplayer, but I think that in terms of multiplayer only civ5 is somewhat better.

Torchlight 2 is a load of fun, and once the full mod tools are released people will be able to make all kinds of amazing content, classes, you name it. Especially since you already have strategy games, I'd suggest picking up Torchlight II.

TL2. I don't have it, yet, but I played the first one and loved it. I still play from time to time with mods.

If you're searching for a good MP experience, you should skip Civ V for a while. Its MP is considered to be broke, with very few people beeing able to complete a single match due to sync errors every few rounds were every other player gets kicked and a complete reload is needed. This is the case with 2 players and the problems get worse if you're more than 2. Some players don't have these problems, though. Here's the official forum with lots of players having problems. None of the usual solutions (disabling/configuring firewall, VPN, etc) seem to work

TL2, on the other hand, has a very good MP experience. Since everything's locally on your PC, you can even play with your friends while downloading something at fullspeed without noticeable lag. It lacks a good server browser or even elementary social features, though, so it can be hard to find good games if you don't play with your friends
