Here's a thought -- feel free to discuss it.
I removed most of the trading section except for feedback on user profiles
As per https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/yWGlf/steamtrades SteamTrades
is essentially handled as separate site. This is noticable by two different things:
- usernames on SteamTrades are not necessarily identical to SteamGifts ones.
This is mitigated by using the SteamID64 for trade feedback user links.
Keep in mind trade feedback isn't necessarily feature-complete. - A lot of HTML class names changed.
Meanwhile, there is no sight of an official API coming ever. And, quite
frankly, with random undocumented website changes (see a1adfe24), this is a
huge pain in the ass.
Contributors are of course welcome to (partially) revert this change to restore
the trade list in a pull request. Issues that are blatantly obvious:
- You need to login separately on SteamTrades, which may not even need to be
the same user (you might violate the SteamTrades Terms of Services in that
case, but I haven't read them) - Deleted comments are not handled.
- HTML/CSS class names are entirely different for the trades, comments, etc.
from SteamGifts. - User profiles on SteamGifts may not exist for a SteamTrades user.
- Replies to negative reviews are not checked and may only be displayed by
pure chance. I've never seen a reply. - "Safety" information such as VAC or game bans, user registration, last login,
steam level, game count and SteamID/32/64 are not displayed. - Your own steam trades are shown by visiting the site

but you can't directly fetch the SteamID64 from SteamGifts, thus proving
an annoyance in building the navigation.
Your milage may vary, but for a feature I've never used I can't justify the
effort for myself. Packing both "fixing SteamTrades comments on profiles"
and "deleting the rest of SteamTrades" may be an unfortunately big comment,
but that's how it is.
(Of course I fixed giveaways not loading. Wait for 1.4.1 to be built, or use the beta version)

Didn't know. I thought it was removed for copyright infringement, so I stuck with the f-droid version. I prefer having images.

I had the "Failed to fetch items" error with the F-Droid version so I downloaded the beta (linked above) and things work fine again.
I'd like to suggest a couple of enhancements:
- An option automatically scroll to the latest post in a discussion. Similar to what is possible from the browser (the green arrow button, marked with a rectangle in the attached screenshot).
- An option to scroll all the way to the bottom of a thread in one click, which is basically the opposite of the scroll up button that appears when you reach the bottom.
Other than these two, this is an excellent app. Far more convenient than using the site in the browser. Thank you!

The last one is semi-possible with an option already -- namely, you can have the "bottom" posts show up on top, but you can't have both active at the same time atm.

Is possible to add something to enter a custom giveaway id? Some puzzles only show the giveaway id when resolved, making it impossible to go to that giveaway.

As mentioned by others failed to fetch items error. Notifications and messages work but when I click on my avatar I get error user doesn't excist. Perhaps with this info it's easier for you to Fix. I really appreciate the time you put making this app it's awesome.If I could I would help maintain it but I have 0 knowledge in it... thanks again for the app :)

I'd probably recommend you use the beta version.
I have no idea why it's not in the repo, seeing as https://f-droid.org/wiki/page/net.mabako.steamgifts has the up to date version information.

I use this app all the time now. It's great! I can't really program at all, but I was wondering how difficult it would be to set up a notification for when your points hit the max (300).

Hello, the last stable version stopped to work for me so I installed latest beta version 1.5 beta 3, it worked few days and it is not working again. The same problem - it shows 0 points and sections such as group GAs or wishlist GAs don't show the right things.
Is there a way how to fix it in my phone or I have to wait for a new beta?

i still love your app. Two questions/comments: for one thing, there is a weird problem with loading GAs, it loads quite a few pages just fine, but then it gets failed to load items. and it's always at the same place. Another thing, wasn't there one a menu option to enter a GA code to directly go to it?

I thought so too, but that does not do it... check ah, doh, my default applauncher captures long back for dual windows mode. Switched it off cause I don't use it anyway and tada, menu is back :D
