Which one looks better?
Cursive looks better, print is better to read... my writing style is a mix of both... :P
In middle school i started to copy some nice looking letters from my teachers and now my letters are a mix of my own creations and these from my teachers...^^
EDIT: couldnt see the pic... for me your cursive loks better AND is easier to read for me... :)

Print.
Cursive may look pretty, but I find it too easily devolves into an undeciperable wad of loops and curls. That may be due to my own crappy handwriting though...

Easier to read in any case would be print. But if you're writing something for someone special or even if you wan't to show that you took time and cared a lot about the message sent, a handwritten letter is always the best. Receiving a letter from someone on vacation is always a nice attention for exemple =)

Cursive, when done nicely, looks better.
But in your case, for your letter I'd suggest print. No offense. :)

If you want your letter to be read, choose print. If you want it to be admired as a piece of abstract art, choose cursive. Simple :P

Your print is easier to read, with the exception of a few letters.
Do you always write in italics?

Hm... your cursive looks better and easier to understand in my opinion and it really isn't bad, really, it's average. Just try making the T with a... __ (lacking vocabulary here...) (trace?)
But your print has some issues, haha, it seems like the letters are about to fall...

ahhh, taylor series. such fun ;)
and you can't write math in cursive anyway ;)

Your cursive looks better than your print. It's as if you cramp while trying to write print.
Also, your cursive is okay, seen worse.
Ever tried to decipher what doctors write? :D

If you're going for the full nostalgia, cursive is the way to go in my opinion. Yours is legible without issue, so go for it.

Your cursive looks better (capslock fury doesn't help when reading your print). You could do what I do and write in a mix of both, though my handwriting is absolutely atrocious and I might not be the best person to counsel someone about writing :x

Print is always better- though in your case, actually print it, don't stylize it in italics like you did in the linked image. If you're going to stylize, may as well go cursive. Likewise, as noted above, not sure why you went all-caps over proper capitalization.

At the risk of sounding rude (oh well), my opinion is that your cursive is horrid & your print little better. That being said, my handwriting is only somewhat better; however, I haven't written in cursive since 3rd- or 4th-grade. Many others above have stated that print is better for functionality, and it's true, while a good cursive style will nearly always trump print (don't confuse a doctor's cursive with good or, for that matter, most people from the past 30 to 40 years). My prefered method, due to my own shortcomings and my sense of style, is using script. If you're not familiar with it, though, I'm sure you are, it is the bastard child of print and cursive. You use the print version of the characters, they usually tilt (like your handwriting). Script tends to flow in a manner similar to cursive, sometimes letters can be connected, however, this is a matter of preference and taste.
I didn't read all of the above comments, so there may be the possibility that someone else has already posted something similar to me; however, I hope that my viewpoint, in addition to the other posters' opinions, will help you with your conundrum so that you can choose your prefered method for the moment. Who knows? With everyone's imput, perhaps you'll come up with additional options for yourself other than the two you presented us circus performers. ;D

Depends on the persons penmanship but it is best to err on the side of caution and print. Personally, it depends on who I'm writing for and why. If it is something important for someone who isn't familiar with my writing I print. If for personal use I tend to do a weird blend of cursive and print.

Cursive probably looks a little more personal. I personally favor print because I haven't attempted cursive at all -- and I'm sure it looks terrible. But I would not do all-caps. All-caps is not intimate at all.

Heh, personally I stopped writing in cursive at some at the elementary, and I write in block letters (print) ever since. I find print easier to read, too, and I like your print a lot better than your cursive ;)

I think your cursive looks better--I don't think it's bad at all. Your print is kind of hard to read, though, sorry. ^^;
I could never get the hang of cursive--I think I was into double digits before I could even read it. I literally know how to write about five letters in cursive, and they're all in my name. And I don't even use them anymore--my signature is the capital letters in print and a little scribble for the rest.
My print isn't much better--for 20-ish years, it was the perfect secret-keeper, because it was so bad only I could read it, and even then sometimes I had to squint and tilt my head. My mother used to say I should become a doctor, because I had the handwriting for it. XD

Nice try, elementary third-grade teacher. I know I won't ever use cursive in real life.

Fun fact, I was barred from writing in cursive in elementary school because it was so bad XD. Gotta say something when even your teachers don't want you to write in cursive :P.

I usually find print way easier to read, but since you are writing in a leaning way, it makes cursive easier in the end. My 2 cents :)

This might be a highly unusual topic here but where else to ask if not at my favourite Steam community. I'm about to write a letter, it's been more than 15 years since I wrote one, heck, it's been over 10 years since I wrote anything. My handwriting was always bad, to the point where no one could read it and it just looked terrible. Slowly over the course of years, and at University having everything in digital form, I completely stopped writing things down. Couple days ago I received a letter and having something tangible in my hands made me feel nostalgic. I decided to write one back.
And here it comes. I couldn't write anything in cursive, I actually had to look up how individual letters look. Simple question for you, guys. Which one is easier to read, if any, and which one would look better for a letter.
btw. I'm lefty, not like it has much to do with it, but I always used it as an excuse :)
edit: I'm an idiot, I forgot to upload a
