I guess, people finally realized, that it's pointless. There will be more than enough cards once the sale starts and it's not like those sale badges are good for anything. Besides, in the previous sales the backgrounds and stuff that you could get, became more and more ugly, like they didn't even try anymore.

Wasn't it also SS14 when they introduced gems and the community market prices for cards and backgrounds/emoticons basically exploded?

you get xp to raise your steam level (some people are into stuff like that) + you can show that you have the highest badget of all (also, some people need stuff like that ^^)

Not completely pointless, just mostly. When I enjoy a game a lot I don't mind spending a buck extra to show I'm passionate about it. For example the 2€ I spent on my Starbound Foil badge were a better investment for me than a lot of games that are sitting in my library unplayed ;)

While this is true and we have to wait, there probably will be nothing - translators would leak anything big :)
Main reason to do it early is to stop making weeklong coupons that won't be possible to use during sale anyway.

Hello. Can you tell me what motivates a person to create a fake profile using images of another famous person? Now, I understand if you use a profile picture or something in your profile from a celebrity you like, but one like yours is not like that. You are literally trying to create a profile as if it was theirs. The first thing in your bio is your trade link, and considering how you are specifically targeting a beautiful woman to use as profile, it gives me idea of the whole purpose. I'm not hating or anything, I just genuinely want to know.
