there was a mathematician at my university that was obsessed about that manga, I still haven't read it

Feng Shen Ji, Red Storm, The Ruler of the Land, Berserk and Vinland Saga. Feng Shen Ji is already finished and it is pretty good, amazing artwork!
I'm thinking about starting Vagabond and Fumetsu no Anata, which was mentioned here. If anyone has suggestions similar to the things I listed I would be glad to hear.

I started reading One Piece last year. I still haven't kept up with the latest chapter but I'm close! Shit is long, yo.
Also I bought the 1st volume of One-Punch Man which is nice.
Overall I'm not a big manga reader but I've started to give it a try.
I'd like to also read something with not as much action next, to shake things up :)

Not really a manga, but right now I'm reading the light novels of Full Metal Panic!, which someone finally started to translate and publish here in Italy; they were doing a great job, but apparently they put the publications on hold for some reason after the 4th book. So I will soon jump on Dante Shinkyoku (La Divina Commedia) by Go Nagai, which I bought last year and I'm so excited to read as the art looks amazing.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a given.
Also re-reading Akira. Don't have all 6 volumes on my bookshelf just to gather dust and all that.
And making my way through the works of Tsutomu Nihei. Finished Blame! & Abara (which may or may not be a prequel to Knigts of Sidonia), working on Biomega (which may or may not be connected back to Blame! somehow). The man sure likes re-using references at least.

Damn I am also reading Claymore right now, only 40 more chapters to end it. It has been awesome so far.

Kuroshitsuji is amazing. It's about a victorian age british earl and his demon butler.

Curiosity. Thought I could look into other books.
Myself currently Kagerou Daze, but the volumes take a long time to release.
