My Steam account is haunted.

Today I earned two achievements on Bejeweled 3. The strange thing though, is that I've never played it, my account shows 0 playtime, it's never even been installed.

I only noticed because when I checked my Steam activity they were there, unlocked this afternoon. How could this have happened?

If that were the case though, wouldn't there be a few minutes of playtime in my library? If you look at my profile you can see that it wasn't played today, and if you go into my games list, it's never been played at all.

someone got your password and unlocked them with whatever achievment unlocker he felt like (not SAM, as SAM would record gameplay time as well ;p)

both :D: yes it is possible. and yes I am joking - if someone would gain access to your account it is possible for him to unlock this achievments, but I guess stealing all your steam items would be more profitable idea in that case :D:

Not showing in your recent game activity on profile. Are you sure it was your activity and not from a friend, because the activity page shows friend's recent achievements too.

I think you just cracked it. A long time ago my girlfriend was playing Bejeweled in offline mode on her computer, I thought it was a family share on her account, but it was probably mine. So when I went over today and logged in it must have updated them without showing any playtime since it was from offline mode.

Thanks man, that is almost certainly what happened and would explain it. Now I can relax with this mystery solved :D
