ARMA III Alpha (Coming today - 25 Euro)

Not a normal game deal. Just letting people know that ARMA III will be 25 Euro if you get it in the Alpha stage. 45 Euro when it's released.

Full price? If you pay 25 euro you get the alpha, beta and the full game. When the game come out will be 45 euro, that is full price.

I know, I wanted to say I usually wait for games to drop to sub 10€ price, I only remember 2 games that I paid more than 10€ for and I didn't get my moneys worth so I try to be cautious. (saying you get alpha, beta and the full game is like saying you get cheese, ham, bread AND sandwich when all you want is a sandwich)

Anyway, I like slower FPSes but I didn't like new OFPs, I never played ARMA2 so I'm not sure I'm willing to risk 25€.

OFP are from codemasters, they are shity arcade games... They have nothing in common with Arma series.
First flashpoint cold war crysis was from Bohemia interactive, but now is re-called to arma cold war assault.

I'm well aware of that. I guess what I wanted to say is that I want to try before I buy, especially when it comes to games that I'm not sure about.
That said...if someone is willing to send me an invite there's a fair chance I'm going to buy it ;)

I started playing ARMA II because of DayZ, but I've lost most of my interest in DayZ and I've been playing alot of regular ARMA II and ALOT of Wasteland Mod. Wasteland is such a fun mod, and imo much more interesting than DayZ.

Err, so Steam is now allowing alpha funding through their own store? Fine by me, as long as they aren't bias and allow all games greenlit / sequels of games already on Steam, etc. to do this. I just hope they're ready to take the backlash if a game such as WarZ goes up for alpha funding lol
