Brothers is an excellent game but it's pretty much a play once and done game. It has nothing to offer on a repeat playthrough. Both your other options though if you're into that game type can offer you hundreds of hours with ease before even considering mods.

Sacred was pretty epic , but its old as hell , if you think you can enjoy it then go for it. I used to play it for days when i was a kid!

Have you tried Path of Exile? It's free and I played it for a good couple hundred hours.

Played both when they first came out (way before I found Steam) and put hundreds of hours into both. I found Sacred Gold to be the better game, but Titan's Quest was VERY close.

Sacred (1) is awesome, especially with the dwarf. 2 is not quite as good, and I hear 3 is rubbish. I also really enjoyed Titan Quest with the expansion, and it's good for multiple playthroughs - minibosses pop up where they weren't there before:D

Its not in your current price range but keep an eye on Grim Dawn, its made by the same people who made Titan Quest.

Your missing out, Titan Quest is one of the Best Diablo style games out there. Maybe I am biast, but It competes with Diablo In my opinion. However, Didn't really play much sacred. At $20 TQ is a great deal, for less its a steal. Huge campaign, awesome story, great gameplay. With the new game +, and huge variation in classes there is almost unlimited replayability.

I haven't played Titan Quest yet but I would recommend getting Immortal Throne over Sacred, which I only played for about half an hour before I uninstalled.
I think you should take a look at this two community patches for Titan Quest, they're supposed to fix a whole lot of bugs and what not: patch, patch

I had frame rate issues. If I zoomed in on my character the frame rate would go up, if I zoomed out the game the frame rate would go down. A friend of mine who played the game told me he gets the same thing, so I assume that the game probably isn't optimized for the modern PC's.
Another issue that I had with the game is the difficulty. If you play Bronze the game is way too easy, if you start on Silver the game is pretty much impossible. Then I've read somewhere that you're supposed to start on Bronze difficulty and play until around level 20 and then import your character into Silver difficulty which will then have you start the game from the beginning again but you'll keep your level and gear. And then later if you want to increase difficulty again you'll have to import your character to another difficulty and start all over from the beginning again. I really don't like that system.

I have them both and they are both fantastic games, but I prefer Sacred Gold over Immortal Throne. For one thing, it's a bigger world. Another thing, it's more open than Immortal Throne. Plus the gameplay and characters seem to be better to me. Immortal Throne you do have more freedom in builds, I'll give you that. Plus Sacred is more of a challenge. Start in bronze until lv 5-8 and then import to silver for more fun.
But I digress. They are both awesome so use your own judgement.

So thanks to the holidays cards I got some money to spend and I'm looking for a decent game to buy for 1,44 euros or less that I don't have. Listed those 2 because they look interesting. Haven't played Titan Quest yet but got it installed (the normal one not the expansion)
Edit: Thanks everyone for replying. I may hold the money to buy Brother: A Tale of Two Sons intead x)
Edit2: Inmortal Throne seems to be a nice option. I'm pretty sure Brothers and Sacred will be cheaper or at the same discount on summer.
