Several of those low quality something simulator have been released lately, looking very similar to each other (didn't look the details, but wouldn't be surprised if they were by the same devs). I guess people like simple free things?

It's a streamer game. One streamer plays it, people who see them having fun download it and it turns out it's just a boring game with a very very repetitive loop.
