I've just successfully used the coupon. I think it's unlikely there will be a better offer, but you never know. You could try contacting support and asking them to re-instate the coupon. I've had success with this in the past.

Yes, just pick a game and click "get key" and you will get to the payment options and it should show the reduced price with the coupon. Otherwise it would just be used automatically on autocharge day after just resuming and not manually buying. Scratch that, the coupon ends before the autocharge date.

I've bought a gift year last november and still haven't gotten to actually redeem it yet because every month I've gotten a better coupon (or even multiple ones) by pausing after the new Choice dropped. Pausing also has the benefit that I can always resume the membership shortly to use the 20% discount and then pause again. I don't think that's possible when cancelling.

Or both are right. I wasn't able to claim the gift myself, and have seen other people with the same issue. So there's something that makes it not possible to claim the gift yourself for some people.

And just to make sure... you bought it here and had the box "This plan is a gift. Send me a gift link." (see picture) checked. You then paid for it and received a gift link. You then opened said gift link and tried to redeem that gift on your own account. And if yes: what was the error message explaining why you weren't able to redeem it?

Yes, I've used this offer previously (2 years ago I think) and it worked.
As I said, I'm not the only one not being able to claim the gift for myself. The exact error is "We're sorry, this gift is incompatible with your current membership plan and can't be applied to your account".
By the error message, it may be possible to redeem it once the current sub ends, but I didn't want to take the chance and just refunded.

Yeah, im pretty sure that's it. You probably could just have cancelled if you don't have any tokens left. You don't actually lose the store discount streak as long as you buy every single month in the end. You could also have asked support for further clarification.

For Souldiers it's the same thing: considering that the LATAM package https://steamdb.info/sub/709230/ cannot be redeemed in Mexico, you get the ROW one https://steamdb.info/sub/498063/.
"can't be redeemed in... RU/CIS / LATAM countries" is the notification for ROW keys, while if you had a LATAM key you'd get "only in... LATAM countries".

Nobody knows exactly how discount coupon offers get sent & to who, though I am under the impression based on reading other Humble Choice comment threads that one offer will get sent in bulk at one single time.
If true, then I wouldn't expect them to send the $6 offer again before the autocharge date next week. If this coupon wasn't so low, then it might be possible that separate offers could come later at lower amounts like last month, but that seems very rare.

The 6$ coupons might have something to do with the last time you bought something from HB.
My latest transaction was WB 100th which was on 15th November and don't get the coupon.
I think if you haven't bought anything from HB for quite sometime you might get the coupon.
Just a guess since HB had similar offer back then, user that bought game or bundle recently didn't get any coupons.

I bought WB 100: PLAY THE LEGENDS! (Nov 14) , and received the coupon for $6 for 2 months.
