It's getting kind of crazy, when I wanted something else from a bundle it took around 25-50 giveaways to win, but for this game I surely have entered over 100 and still none. Strange how luck works.

It depends on the giveaway's creator. If they are gifting a collection, a bundle or something else that includes multiple pieces, they usually lay down rules how many pieces entrants are allowed to have beforehand. They could reroll the giveaway if the winner already has something from the collection, but many don't bother to check that.

It's a really great game, I saw a sequel fundraiser on Kickstarter about a month ago

Did you try your luck during the infamous shipstorm?? There was a time a while ago when SG was flooded with the Ship -giveaways, and many people got their copy during that time.
