Anybody else watching Luther?

Sorry, no BBC for me, as I am American, and my college doesn't have the channel.

I caught both series on Netflix streaming. The accents can be a bit thick to wade through, but the show is brilliant and Elba's amazing.

What is the Luther?

Series 2 sucked in my opinion. But the first one was great.

I like this show ^_^ Idris Elba is incredible. Just look at how he delivers his speech in this Pacific Rim trailer

I tried, but Wire in the Blood is just so much better.

Just starting watching it on netflix yesterday. Probably gonna binge on it once I am done watching The Shield.

I just started to watch Hannibal Lecter, holy shit its good!

I like the show a lot. It reminded me of a British version of The Shield. Crooked cop gets in over his head and ends up having to constantly try to survive and keep the heat off himself. It doesn't have the drug and gang theme of the Shield, but Vic and Luther play out their lives in similar ways.

Idris Elba is so good on the show. Seeing him trying to clean up his messes makes the show worth watching, alone. It is a good detective show and really dark, so there are many reasons to watch it. I thought Ruth Wilson was really good, in her time on the show, as well.

I'd recommend it. Not a lot to get into, due to the short series orders. I'm American, but I watch quite a bit of British tv and this might be my favorite straight up British show, right now. Not counting the ones that are both British and American, like Game of Thrones.

Since I ended watching the second season I'm eager to see the third one. Idris Elba perfoms wonderfully and the dark scent of the series is far from most of the TV series shown nowadays.

Luther and Sherlock are probably my two favorite series from BBC (and two of my favorite current ones) and the two are on standby :_(.

I kid you not, after The Wire this is one of the best shows i've ever seen im my life. Friend was bugging me for days to give it a chance so i finally caved in. Now i can't wait for the third season, i don't think i've ever seen a show that made me so uncomfortable with such interesting approach
