Hell yes! Unfortunately due to being a somewhat completionist too, that definitely takes me longer than what i usually plan for. But I take solace in the fact that I'll eventually get to all of them... One day.

In the beginning i tried to get a lot of games. This changed over time and i try to play every game i won now only entering those i want to play in the near future. But due to the fact that most of the games have really long game hours, and i am going for all achievements or at least completing the games, it will take some time to finish them all.

Other than a couple of recent wins that I haven't had enough time for yet, I've played them all! There a handful that I won't finish because I really didn't enjoy them, but I at least gave them a fair chance.
Early on, I would enter every giveaway I could, but once I got involved in PAGYWOSG and started actually playing through them I slowed down a lot. Now I mostly only enter for games on my wishlist. Still, some of those random games I won early on turned out to be a lot more fun than I expected, and they got me to branch out and try some genres I never would have bothered with on my own (like hidden object games - I never would have known that I enjoy them if I hadn't blindly entered and won one).

Played most of my wins, trying to go through them all. Like many people, at first I tried to join as many giveaways as possible. But then I realized that it's pointless to win games if I don't want to play them. Now I enter only for games I want to play.

I spent years not playing the games i won, and then just recently tried to fix that.
And now just enter games that i'm 100% sure i wanna play.
Also i completed a spreadsheet manually to see if the games i gifted were tried at least 2h :
Less or more quality didn't affect result. Some bad games have been tried, some good not tried.
If you gift to public/private just don't hope for the games to be tried, do it for the gesture.

Slowly, I'll complete them all!!! (working on it, but during summer is not an easy task)

I always enter giveaways with the intention of playing the game, but I also have the usual backlog to go through.
So for the last few years I've been using a random number generator to decide what to play next, I find it a lot of fun, but minus the fact that I don't know when I'll play the games I've won

I voted "some". I'm striving to play all of them, but I've made the task much harder than it needs to be by winning way too many games when I first joined SG, including some mediocre ones that I'm not that excited to play. Mistakes were made.
Once I started concentrating on playing my wins in 2023, my attitude changed completely. I realized that I have a backlog that can last me for decades, so now I'm much more reluctant to win or even buy new games.
To give you an idea, in 2022 I won 167 games and played 29 of them. This year (so far), I've won 13 games and have played them all.
Here are the completion stats for my 242 wins:
I still have some big wins from years past that I really ought to prioritize playing.

Heck yes! That's why i enter!
Also im currently on fire rn😁
...but i probably will have to slow down from the next month.
The idea of 'collecting' sounds very amusing to me as they arent physical items and hence arent truly yours.
Card farming is also so pointless...you waste your time and energy for 'things' that are literally worth cents!! Why would you do that!?😭

Though I don't care about such things myself, in the interest of others:
'collecting' games is a thing that can, at least keep your small apartment from filling over with stuff you don't need. Some people feel an urge to collect, and given tight spaces some might have, this seems like a way to keep it in a more manageable space. You can still peruse shiny pictures, like they're digital Pokemon cards. (I've always loved box art.)
Card collecting seems similarly adjacent, but with a payoff of a shiny at the end, if I understand. Like a meta 'gotta catch 'em all's.
People find different things hold interest and value, even if it's not my thing, it still makes some sense.

I see what you mean, my comment was in connection to the poll options here...the act of winning GAs for the sole purpose of collecting games or earning trading cards.
With the precariousness of digital ownership, the idea of collecting games rather playing them or selling cards for cents sounds tiring and pointless to me. I have nothing against someone spending their own money for such hobbies tho💰🙈

I am trying to play all my wins. Luckily I figured out earlier than some that I was getting some kinda lame games early on, so made sure to pick giveaways more carefully...but that's because I started with a good sized backlog already. I was at about half my wins played, and then my luck flipped and I won a bunch of games in the last few weeks. It is wonderful and also set my stats way back. So now I'm trying to be even more picky.
We also get some console games (yay physical media!) and between Epic free games and some Prime games, it's an uphill battle with fun choices along the way.
Currently wrapped up Coffee Talk (itch.io), Dave the Diver (physical Switch), Beyond Blue (sg win), Citizen Sleeper (SG win), Armored Core 6 (PS5 physical), Mirror's Edge (Steam backlog)
Getting good progress on Ghostrunner (steam backlog), Ace Attorney Chronicles (physical Switch), Lego Marvel (steam backlog)
Pecking away slowly at Tunic (physical Switch), Blazing Beaks (digital Switch), Fez (Steam backlog)
Started Kraken Academy (amazon).
And I tried out 3 games that either weren't very good or just not what I want in a game. Trying to do a mix of wins and backlog, plush short and long games. Something reading or mellow for night, something challenging, something co-op to play with my kid.

Yes. I'm currently in the midst of my last batch of wins. Which will be wrapped up by the end of October.

65%ish completed, 3%? tried and ended up abandoning them, some are endless, still quite a lot (at least 20-25%) haven't played, or not properly. I play quite a lot and enjoying many games, but I try to balance length, and as I play them for multiple events, the focus slips away. I definitely plan on playing most/all, but I got myself in the corner with: old and questionable wins, very long games that needs to be planned around, and highly mood-dependant games.

I voted "I play some of my wins!" though I strive to play all of them. I barely played any of my recent wins but I have plans to & am actively crossing them off my list. Slowly but surely, I'm getting rid of both my own games and the ones I've won here off my backlog.
Feels good to 100% games or even just to beat them.
I am currently attempting to complete 6 humble games for the Monthly in a Month #49 (which I started 2 days ago, alot later than I should've XD) and am steadily progressing! Finished 2 games and it really does feel good to have them on my "Completed List" and I have plans to 100% them once I complete the challenge! :D
Though, I will say, it's difficult sometimes to prioritize games I've won on here as I have/had amazing games like Inscryption, Ghost of Tsushima, SMT5: V and replays of my favorite games (Return of the Obra Dinn, Yakuza 0, Terraria Calamity and Cruelty Squad) on my waitlist/ "gonna play next" list which is why I try to look for challenges like the one mentioned above. They give me both a clear goal, a set amount of time and a chance to play the games I would've taken ages to get to if I hadn't as well as giving me a chance to win games I really want (EHM, Animal Well) so basically 4 wins and 0 losses as I'll get to those games I'm itching to play eventually.

i tell ya how it is, right now i rarely play my wins, depending of the contracts we have to fullfill at work i got like a 7-10h workday, also in the process of visiting flats to move, changing my bank so i also have to call/write mails/emails to everything connected to it. ... if i play something right now, then i will probably choose civ 5 (actual won game here) or vampire survivors to let off steam for an hour or two

I wonder if this thread title also encourages further bias towards gamers who play their wins, outside of the obvious 'people who are more engaged in the forums are more likely to be people playing their wins'.
At the very least, I think a lot of us who are trying to play all our wins, but not keeping up, are more likely to post about it. :D

I come here mostly for gaming news and trends. Winning anything is a bonus and is usually played, there's an education in there if nothing else at the worst case level.
The community is generally where it's at and I take that as a win on every visit :)

I intend to, but my backlog is large and it takes a while to get around to them. (One of the ones I DID play didn't work, consistently froze up after about a minute because the devs broke it :/)
