Everyone really is sort of good. It just depends on how you feel, not on the other person's personality. For example, your mother is probably the paragon of good, yet to some other person out there she could be a living nightmare. Words like good and evil are subjective, so you can never really label people as them. And if you did, you are only labeling them as good and evil to satisfy what your mind thinks at that moment, which might later change...argh!

get backstabbed a hundred times and you will learn to measure someone with what he is doing over time, not on the first look.
also, what is evil in ones opinion must not be evil in the opinion of an other.
you will have to learn this by yourself, because there will be noone that has the exactly same opinion as you (and this is amazing)

Everyone tries and will backstab you, trust your guts, to find the one YOU think to be worthy of your friendship!

Everyone looks out for #1; themselves. Understanding that will help you understand people's motivations and intentions.

Never change, you don't have to change just because the most people sucks. Be yourself in this mad world.
Instead of that, create a shield and be strong, you will get that automatically if you can't be another way, you can't help it.
So just be patient.
At beginning will suck, it will hurt, but you will be proud of yourself tomorrow. And a bit upset, i know.

People will kick your ass and backstab you many times during life, but hey, be strong, and stronger, you will be much more that them eventually and then they will cry for you because you are the fukin master, people will be blown away with your spirit and toughness.

There is no answer.

You are going to get many different kinds of responses on this forum. The answer to "How do I tell good from evil?" is actually a simple one, yet the answer requires some explanation in order to understand it. For now, just keep the following in mind:

• When good is taken out of its proper context, when it is in the wrong place, or the wrong time, or for the wrong reason, it becomes evil.
• The motivation for evil stems from a self-centered urge to fulfill a desire at the expense of others. Measure the actions of a man, not his words.
• A person's actions may be evil, but we do not know his or her heart. A person may always choose to change his or her path, even unto death.

Nothing is objectively good or evil.

Really the answer to this question is perspective. What might be considered good to one person might not be to another and the same goes for evil. Perspective changes everything.
