I do have a really close problem since 2 or 3 weeks as well with a G602, it instantly scroll downs the page or scroll up the page and keeps doing so. I tried to uninstall, reinstall, update, change the batteries, etc. And I have no idea what the hell is actually happening. Similar problem, just not similar mouse but close, so maybe it's a common problem with Logitech G60X series ?
I have to precise that I have this mouse since over a year, and for a year it never ever had that problem, so it might be driver related.
[edit] For now the only "trick" I found was to not scroll down or up before the page was fully loaded and if I fail, I click on the scroll bar to stop the problem. But it's not a solution and since mine is still under warranty, I'll have it changed if I still have the problem in a week.

Think it's with a lot of mice from the G serie, some issues i read date from years ago.
Do you use the logitech software (did you uninstall and reinstall that too?), Windows 10, Nvidia etc all constantly updated?
Read one site could be latest Nvidia drivers but i tried uninstalling that with DDU, didn't work.
It shows 2x HID-mouse in device manager, with drivers from 2006.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, I tried to google it but it's complicated to see new things.
I use the Logitech software, uninstalled and reinstalled too, every single of my drivers are installed thanks to that > beautiful website < I use since, PFEW, at least 10 years and it actually refused to install the last NVidia drivers 2 weeks ago when I tried to, related to a conflict with another driver (maybe Logitech ?).
I have only 1x HID-Mouse in device manager as well as the Logitech cordless gaming receiver (driver from 2014. Way to update Logitech) , can't tell you more, tbh I don't know what the problem can be, but I'm seriously considering sending it back knowing that I have a 2 years warranty (always take the extended warranty) and I don't want to be stuck with that problem forever.
Oh yeah, I should precise that while I have this mouse since a year, I got it replaced 2 months ago thanks to the warranty for another problem (old mouse getting old basically), so this one is 2 months old and didn't have a problem the first month at all before beginning to act up. No idea what could be the problem, but I think I'm going to send a message to Amazon technician and see with them what else it can be and explain to them that other people have similar problems and we don't know how to solve it.
It's a shame because it's the only mouse that actually fit my hand and have enough buttons for me to play, so MEH. I just hope it's either drivers related OR a bad batch of mice, since we got ours around the same time, it's highly possible that there are similar pieces used for both which may explain why we have this problem if it's physical.

Never had problems with Nvidia drivers even installed one a few days ago, so maybe not logitech.
Thing is if you use the warranty and it's a driver thing or whatever a new mouse probably won't help either, but even more so if it's an overall physical thing on their mice, then we might end up getting the same thing, and using the warranty 4-5 times (and that shipping would probably get you a new mouse) till we get fed up with it, the higher G series had a lot of issues with doubleclicking.
A few weeks ago i also got a Logitech Harmony (universal remote control) even thought that might be interfer but tried plugging it out and didn't seem to help either.
Best to call them first maybe, think i will do monday too, have a live person talking to me seems better then just some mail or contact form, maybe they know and say its a common problem and we know what it is, and what you can do.

That's why I buy on Amazon, I don't pay the delivery as I have prime and I don't pay anything to send back the faulty mouse either. I can also choose to have my money back or having been sent another mouse still under the same warranty time. To me sending back and getting another isn't a problem, but I can understand that it may be yours if you don't or cannot have Amazon in your area.

Yeah they only sell online books and music here.
Also a lot of people don't have creditcards here and since they don't support PayPal, maybe that's why.
Well if i have to, just hope it's a one time thing, maybe ask for a different model maybe even.

Yeah it goes something like that, first it was minor like a small jump and once or twice, now it just seems to do it more and more, although still not as bad as in your clip i mean i can still view sites (with a minor annoyance) in your clip that would drive me crazy. Did it also started like that with you or right away like in the clip?
And i got Edge, Firefox and Chrome, all the same, so not browser related either.

It was small at the beginning as well, sometimes it's even worse and get stuck constantly.
I tested another mouse on my computer > No problem.
I tested this mouse on another computer > Same problem.
I also tested on a brand new chrome without a single extension, just in case, the problem remains.
It's definitely the mouse and I recorded to get Amazon technical help, I'm waiting for an answer right now, I'll tell you what they say about it as soon as I get an answer.

He read my explanation, watched the video and instantly offered me to return the mouse. He told me that I did everything possible and clearly there was a problem with it, I asked for it to be replaced, I should received the new one by Tuesday at worse.
We'll see what happens with a brand new mouse (and at least you have a clip now to show to the technician on your side).
Queue suspense music

We'll see, the first one lasted 15 months (I had the opportunity to check during the chat with the technician) and never got that problem, the buttons were just having some troubles and since I took an extended warranty I just asked for an exchange, so I do believe it might be a batch problem as I'm pretty sure they use similar parts on several of their mice, so it's possible that your mouse and mine benefited of the same problematic part, even if it's not the same mouse.
Also wow the price on Logitech website, I paid mine 35% off lol.

I paid 64 euro, if it works, if it stays working, and it's good i got no problems spending the extra.
If the higher series didn't have the double click i would have paid 100 probably.
Found out how to open the darn thing (memory lapse because when i first got it, i did open it too removing one battery because it felt so heavy, can also atleast try replacing it), was already some minor dust forming inside (same as around the black parts under the mouse.
One thing i also have btw is the xbox 360 controller interfering as in that it will move my cursor all the way to the left and down, really at random, maybe because how it's setup in steam, don't know, but can only be fixed by removing the controller and then plug it back in, only happens with a few games, probably because i run them windowed, think that's a seperate issue.

Because i wouldn't want to use that if it would be something silly like a driver thing on my part and if i got a new mouse and it's on my side, then it's not fixed either. (and shipping costs when i don't have a lot of money).
And if i could open it easily i could atleast also check if a bit of cleaning would help, but there are no visible screw parts, i am sure it can be opened, have to figure out how though (without damaging anything because that would void the warranty).
Comment has been collapsed.
Usually Logitech hides screws under product info label, and I bet that trying to disassemble it will result in damaged label and your warranty will most likely be void. I also doubt that you'll find anything to clean inside a couple weeks old mouse. I would suggest you to check this mouse on another device and if it will behave the same way - just use your warranty

Unfortunately this is an issue in some other logitech mice as well, two of them being the Logitech G300s and G903. Best thing to do is use the warranty and get a new one.
Comment has been collapsed.
Seconding this. I have a G300S and the semi-random left double-click issue is real. I replaced the first mouse under warranty and now the replacement mouse is exhibiting the same issue. I've "solved" it by assigning left click to one of the supplemental buttons, but it's a less than ideal solution.
BTW, the replacement mouse shipped for free and Logitech didn't require me to return the old one -- I just had to go through the troubleshooting steps the technician indicated to confirm that the issue existed and wasn't driver related.

True but someone else (that also posted here) got a new mouse, but the problems remained, it could be the mouse (hardware) but very well also just the software (the firmware) for some a new firmware update did fix it so it's a bit more tricky.
In theory they could up with a new firmware update like next week and all be fixed for everyone, but i called logitech and they couldn't say oh yes sir it's a common problem, we are working on it etc.

You can request your cash back, or to switch it with another mouse...
Switching for another one doesn't really cost them, as they get a refund from their supplier when they send your old new mouse back and they get to keep the sale.
It is worth asking, and you can state that after you got the problem you researched it and found out it is a common problem with this item and you'd prefer another mouse. (I only use my trusted Razer Naga, as I'm a leftie, and would only switch it for an equally ergonomically good mouse)

Yeah but pretty much every mouse, brand what i looked at will have their own issues like double click, i looked at it for 2 hours but not found 1 alternative option i would feel safe with.
It's like what monitors have with bleeding, dead pixels etc, not really 1 save type or brand either.
Pretty much the mice that has extra's, barely see any problems with mice that are 20-30 euro.

They have the Razer Mamba wireless on sale... (€74,90 instead of 84.90)
Might be worth upgrading from the €49,99 your G603 costs now... (if you can spare the 25 euro's, that is, unless you bought your G603 for 79,93 of course, then you'd get €5 back), you could up your chances by stating you'd be happy wioth €5 store credit (thus giving them assurance you'd buy there something later) and state that if they don't want an upgrade, you'll ask for your cash back and go to Bol, they have it on sale for 74,99 atm.

I've found half the mouse problems I ever have can be fixed by giving the mouse a good smack (kind of like on NES)
Comment has been collapsed.
Try to clean the sensor and use some compressed air on the scroll wheel. If it doesn't fix the issue, then it's most likely a hardware problem and it's better to get a replacement if it's still under warranty.

try to "repair" it and be sure to break the warranty seal, after you failed; try to get a new one and act indignant for being treated unfair.

Interference... sometimes, my old Logitech MediaPlay wireless mouse has more trouble relaying its messages to the PC when my phone is nearby, or when a decades old (wired) keyboard is nearby. Or when the receiver is angled weird. Check any other cables that are along that sight line. In guitar cabling, you try to get good insulated cables to prevent cross-talk across two different cables when they're next to each other. Computer cables and cheap music cables aren't usually well insulated.
Might help, might not.
If possible, I'd just return it to the store though. It sounds like more than just an interference issue.

Yeah we are getting too much Wireless/Wifi/Bluetooth/RF (my logitech universal remote) that's it bound to clash with things.
I can try moving my phone, maybe its the bluetooth.
I bought it online, that's the downside of online shopping, not easier to return stuff (without paying) and it all takes longer instead of just taking a trip to the store.

I just search your mouse and it seems like a common problem with no easy fix. This video kind of sucks because it doesn't explain anything, but it looks like he removes the scroll wheel and puts a piece of paper inside where the wheel shaft connects to the censor to make the connection tighter.
This person de-soldered the censor and replaced it with a new one.
Anytime I have had scroll wheel problems, I just open the mouse and clean the debris out from around the mouse wheel, but that is with mice that have an optical censor that shines a light through holes as you spin the mouse wheel. With your mouse, it all looks mechanical, so debris isn't the problem, it's a faulty part.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah i am not that good with soldering and that for sure will remove the warranty, might as well get it replaced then. :p
Some do say a firmware update might also help (and one person just was send a new mouse and he could keep the old one and now got two).
Thanks it does seem to confirm more likely that there is a bad batch and yeah not one that has an easy fix. :/

I'm not saying they don't have good mice or keyboards but they can be cheaply built sometimes or certain parts of it will be cheap or defective. I remember I had a G400 or an earlier model, the mouse was nice to use but the part where the cord connected to the mouse was defective and after a year or two would randomly lose connection to the pc. Lots of people with that mouse had that issue. That's just one example. Their mice have never lasted more than 2 or 3 years for me.
I've never had to pay anything when doing the RMA online. Unless Logitech changed their policies.
Comment has been collapsed.
But if you buy the mouse online and not a physical store, they would want the mouse back, that would be a parcel sent to them which usually cost money, i assume that's how it goes?
I know you can sent certain letters without a stamp to companies (and they pay) never heard that would be possible with parcels.
Comment has been collapsed.
It does say if you haven't bought it directly from logitech.com you might have to try the store you bought it from, and then some vague sentence unless there is some defect or something (which there is) have you bought it from logitech itself or another store?
Comment has been collapsed.
I think they're trying to say if the mouse is returnable using the store's return policy then you could just get your money back that way but if it's past the return policy then you can use Logitech's warranty.
I actually don't know where I got my mouse. It was a broken mouse that was my brother's. I never asked him where he got it. I used the warranty on it and Logitech sent me a new mouse.

Never had any problems (well not counting the dozen spilling of drinks but that's my own fault xD). And then again i always used cheap 20-30 euro keyboard/mouse combo's.
Only with the last set i had problems (receiver gone wonky) but i bought that in a physical store, had to give it to them and after 2 weeks i got a replacement.
That's when i decided to get a G603 in the meantime not to wait on the replacement, i didn't go for a higher series because i read the stories about doubleclicks.
Shame they aren't learning and just make their products better. :x Guess sending replacements is still cheaper for them.

I'm very familiar with Logitech, i recommend calling their support (if it's free in your country) rather than directly contacting them by email. By my own experience (YMMV) i can tell you by phone they were so much more effective to helping me fixing my problem.
Other than that, for people with double click issues i recommend watching THIS VIDEO. It seems that it worked for many people even though keep in mind that you probably will have to repeat it if the problem shows up again. I haven't tested it myself yet but imo it's worth trying with how easy and dumb his solution is.

Warranty was expired so i got a pretty sweet discount. Pretty fair from them if you ask me but the fact that i own many many Logitech products (and told them so) might have helped my case, so as always your mileage may vary.
I had 2 G518 (still own one, taking the dust) during my competitive gaming years long ago. Then my G600 got double click issues (i'll eventually try the solution i linked above when i want to re-use it). And now rocking my GPW.
In your case since it's a very recent purchase my guess is that they'll send you a new one after you provide the evidence of your purchase. If you got it from Amazon i guess it's even easier to directly get a refund from them.

Seems like a cool friendly company (can't say that for a lot of other ones).
I also got a 150 euro keyboard from them (bought with the mouse so when showing the receipt they can see it), Harmony universal remote, and dozens of cheap mouse/keyboard sets from them in the past, i hope i am considered a good loyal customer too.
I had double click issues with a whole different mouse years ago, there is this piece of software (forgot it's name though) and really helped remove/filter out the double clicks for awhile, but it's not a permanent solution.
Don't know if it was the same, but can try if you want. https://www.clickfix.cf/
From a shop called alternate and they aren't so friendly with returns according to some reviews (even go to saying things are your fault and such) but never had to use them for that.
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah it seems that they put some thoughts with their aftersale service compared to some others company. Although i must say their online support were the total opposite when i first contacted them, felt like i was talking with a robot lol. That's why i recommend calling them, they'll take it from there and then finish the procedure with a competent online rep.
I know Alternate, i've seen some good deals from them in the past but never bought anything from them so i can't tell.
Last things, i didn't mention it in my previous posts but it's good to know that the double click issues and whatnot are common with most brand out there, it would be a mistake going elsewhere thinking you'll avoid it. One of the (very) possible reasons is that they use Omron switches, which are from my understanding much likely to have those problems than say the Huano switches which are the second most known switches i believe. For example, Zowie mouses, if i'm not mistaken, doesn't have those issues because they use Huano switches.

I've been using a G603 for almost exactly a year now and haven't had such issues. There was a firmware update for it on Logitech's site but I have doubts as to whether it would make a difference as it sounds like you have may a defective unit on your hands. Can't hurt to try though. Otherwise I would return/exchange it if still possible or have Logitech replace it under warranty. You may not even need to send the faulty unit back to them.
Comment has been collapsed.
I tried the firmware, which made my mouse stop working alltogether or a bit, and could only use the keyboard, eventually found out running the firmware again, fixing it.
I will contact them tommorow, does seem they don't need to have the faulty one back.
Comment has been collapsed.
Got a message from Logitech, said it was too early for them to step in, only if the seller refuses to help then i could contact them for help.
So if the store would help i have to pay to send the parcel, and if this thing keeps happening again with the next mouse/mice what i assumed can cost a pretty penny.

Have a G603 for a few weeks, didn't go for a higher model because of supposed double clicks, it was fine for the first two weeks, but now it's getting more and more horrible, especially browsing and you have tabs open it automatically goes to other tabs, it's scrolling up and down by itself on a page.
And sometimes with TF2 for example it keeps switching weapons by itself (yet when i tried this morning it didn't do it and it was fine).
I tried reinstalling the driver,i tried different usb ports, i tried to eliminate interference, when i google more people seem to have that issue, but not really a fix that works, and dunno if i try to open (which doesn't seem that easy) if i void any warranty.
Anyone else recognize this issue with a Logitech G mouse?
