Silver Elite now, down from nova 3 or 4... Which happens when you play with much better friends.

Win matches consecutively.

720hs - 201 Wins - Master Guardian I

220hs - 60 Wins - Master Guardian Elite

im silver 4 on my account it has 123 matches won ( It was silver elite master but it got lowered when i loss matches )

im silver elite master on other it has 20 wins ...

Your stats don't matter. Only team wins matter. If you win more games than you lose, you will rank up. If you lose more than you win, you will rank down.

There's also modifiers to that behavior. If you happen to play against opponents that have a higher rank than you, you will rank up sooner if you win. The reverse is also true; if you play against opponents of lower rank than you and lose, you will lose ranks.

I think the more games you played, the slower the rank changes. I have only 39 matches won and I'm currently Nova Master. Before it switched very fast between Nova 2, 3 and master. Have a friend with more than 250 wins and it takes very long for a change of rank. Both up and down.

And I barely play, half of my CS:GO playtime is my brother's.

I'm Master Guardian Elite with like 20 wins. I've only lost like 2 or 3 times and had a few ties as well.

You rank up due to win streak. Up until rank Master Guardian Elite, you need 3 consecutive wins at YOUR RANK level. 3 consecutive wins will rank you up. However past MGE you need a 6 win streak to rank up.

Oh i have 314 wins and at master guardian 2 now i have been in nova 1-2-3-4 and silver elite master for a long time but if you practise enough before playing comp. and if you find yourself 3-4 other friends the pleasure you take from game and your tactical imporevements can climb rapidly.And yes dont call all the good players as hacker some of them are really alt. accounts of well ranked people and thats normal for some of them to make insane frags when playing with silvers and novas...
