Yeah, there's a known issue related to syncing not applying properly (due to Steam servers wonking out, as they are especially prone to do during sales). Basically, Steam sends the site empty data, which is why your wishlist searches return no results. Recommended is calculated on-site, and is based heavily in what giveaways you've been entering, so it likely wouldn't be noticeably affected.

Don't know why, but for some reason when I click on wishlist, it's saying no results found. Then I switch over to recommended, and there's various giveaways that are on my wishlist.
I'm assuming this is a bug.
