All I had for spendable money was the $0.45 in my wallet from selling sale cards, and I couldn't be assed to buy any more copies... Especially since I kinda foresaw the bump into the bundle list. I've given away enough bundled content, so it really didn't make a difference to me if I got the CV or not.
