Solved. I would have had it done quicker but I put punctuation in the answer for #2 and it didn't like it.

Thanks, I updated it to indicate there is no punctuation.

(o'Θ')っ🚩#11...

Thank you Puzzle♪
(。-Θ-。)ooO(Certainly there were various measures in the past. I think that the "Megaten Series" from the Atlas was filled with something that could be displayed on the screen with an extremely rare probability of "すぐにけせ (Erase it now!)".

Very nice and touching puzzle, I already have the game, but solving the questions was a fun ride into gaming history.

Had to google 2 times.
I knew the sonic question because they used it as advertising for all the following sonic games, but I didn't remember the exact wording.
Around here they advertised sonic as the crazy hegdehog.

Totally couldn't remember the Monkey Island question ... but I must admit that I didn't like code books/wheels ... although sometimes they were nicely integrated with the game.

From the stuff that came with the games I loved maps, if available it made the game a bit easier otherwise explore everything :)

Oh yeah, the maps! One game came with a beautiful cloth map. I think it was Ultima IV.

Also used to make my own maps with grid paper, for those games with dungeons :)

Definitely had to Google-fu those, though the last question at least brought back some nice memories. :)
I remember at least one game coming with a translucent red filter to read the code from an image with words printed over each other in multiple colors. (Like this!)
Where in the USA is Carmen San Diego used the physical Fodor's Guide that came with the game and would ask for a specific word from a specific page of the book. I know others did this with the manual, but I thought this was pretty neat at the time.
Also, my first pirated game back then had actually just cracked the code wheel part and would automatically solve it for you. I thought that was hilarious and amazing the first time I encountered that.

one time took apart the code wheel from my friend and made copies of each layer of the wheel, then cut it out (all of those little holes, too) and used it for my copied disks :P
