Or Steam could just make changing Birthdays impossible and every year on our B'day, Steam gives us "Birthday Coupon", which would be 75% off of any title on Steam (except for ones that are on sale), and the coupons validity? 1 Week.

Or we could just post our facebook profiles ...
Real friends don't need to be reminded by a site when your birthday is. They should know it.

Or have a pre-made group each day of those peoples birthdays and then send them a message from steamgifts saying heres a private giveaway because its your birthday that givers can choose to make it to.

The only thing is that I wouldn't want it to be so that people feel as though they are entitled to something.
