Indeed it is (when it comes to strategy ;-)

In doubt to buy it for Sword of the Stars and King's Crusade. The rest would make nice giveaways...

Only if you like this types of games getting them for 2,65€ will be a very good deal. Personally for me is boring.

You seem to know your grand strategy games. I've never played one but at some point I hope to give it (and their steep learning curve) a try. I own EU3 and Victoria. I noticed you praising EU3 here but have far more hours logged in Victoria. Which is the better game? Which one would be easier for someone new to the genre? Which one has the most helpful tutorial?

Can't judge about Victoria, but EU3 is very good. It's one of the few strategy games where I've seen the AI make leaps you would never suspect of a computer AI. Add the pretty steep learning curve to the game and you have a pretty hard to master (and win) game.

After my 53 hours of playing EU3 I've only reached ~1450 (playing Holland) and I'm kinda deadlocked by France and and Sweden. Both see me as a natural enemy and I can't pick any fight at all at this moment. I have tried a couple of strategies from one save point, but they all kinda end the same (me being overrun by France)

Thanks. I'll give EU3 a shot first then and I bookmarked that site for when I start. I already like that tutorial though: "friends who bought the game but are basically too scared to try it." Haha, that's me.

Gonna be one of the worst selling bundles so far as everyone nearly has everything it offers and it's expensive (basically bta price without offering a bta worth game (as they've been there cheaper before)).

It's pretty good at that price

Well... I bought it. So you're telling me that I shouldn't have, because I now don't have the EU/HOI expansions? :/

EU3 is definetly playable without the extra expansions eventhough one of them improves the UI/graphics a bit. If you play it a bit and come to like EU3 or grand-strategy in general I'd recon you try EU4 which dropped as low as 10 USD instead of investing in the expansions.

can't speak of HOI because it couldn't get into it.. :/

I wanted EUIV, but the offer expired, so this is the best I can get for now.

Hmm. I swear Chronicles has been bundled multiple times. I wonder why Paradox decided not to go with the full version this time.

"Considering they gave out keys for the Chronicles edition which includes those two in their newsletter"

I guess I really need to read my emails more throughly =/

Didn't have any of them other than Magicka. Bought one.

Always good to see Magicka in a bundle.

...again..? It's one of the most bundled games by now :p

I have all of the bundle, so given my lack of cash, I won't really bother to get this.

Is the price stable, or is it going to change over time? First time buying from bundlestars and I don't know if I should wait and let the bundle madness syndrome leave my mind or grab it right away :) I already own Magicka and EU3, so it makes it less of a deal I guess.

they had reduced prices for a bundle at christmas for the first week or so iirc other than that they rarely reduce the price, its certainly not like humble bundle where it varies on the hour so if you like the look of id buy it 90% chance it wont change price in my experience
