Why remove when it doesnt matter? Same store? You will still play goty.

When you go to support and delete, you have this choice:

Which package do you want to remove from your account?

Choose the free one.

Hi mate. This may make me look dumb but little help. When I go to steam support in steam client. I can see games and software and when I search the game. Even though I choose the free version. The follow up screen show the goty edition which I bought in 2016. Little help please.

View the game in library directly. Click support button and then I want to permanently remove.

It should be two versions there?

Ok mate. I removed it. Thanks for your answer. The doubt which I had was. When I clicked on promo package it showed the purchase history of both goty edition and the promo one. So I thought by removing the promo I may inadvertently remove the goty edition also. That's why I asked again but anyway I thought screw it and went ahead and thankfully only promo version was removed as you mentioned. Thanks for the help.

Ok mate. I already got all the cards that can be dropped. So I think I will follow your advice and leave it like that. Hopefully the dlcs work properly.

Edit: I added the code for TR into my account and apparently it doesn't unlock the GOTY edition :(

Yeah, both games was pretty useless.

Key-Only in the name when activating and "disabletradingcards Yes"
It also doesnt mention its GOTY on steamdb but standard. Probably because they only sell GOTY on their website but they generated keys just because of the steam giveaway and had their standard goty name.

Maybe the Icy Death / Twisted Gears, as those actually add some new tombs, but only if you're really craving more content. The rest of the DLC is just new skins or a few new rings/amulets (which have a negligible impact on the game anyhow).

I think they are giving away tomb raider (definitive edition all DLC included I believe), on square enix store. The webpage is saturated because of the traffic. I wil try tomorrow, anyway I got the basic on steam for free by now.

so can you assure me that activating this key when having the tomb raider base game will give no dlc at all and will only waste the key? if true, then i'd rather not waste it this way.
