If everyone would get suitable regional prices for their Steam Store, would you still buy games from stores other than Steam itself?
HB bundles are still good for trading. Yes let's say you got Rise of the Tomb Raider for $12 and now it's $7, but you also got a few other games at about $1 each that you could trade for games you want on steamtrades, or sell. Fanatical bundles are sometimes not bad and sometimes has better prices after 10%off code if the game doesn't get much discount ever, for example Fallout New Vegas Ultimate is always only 50% on steam as with some dlcs, so with the coupon/code, it's cheaper albeit very little.
It's true I've started being more interested in steam store after regional pricings but it still can't beat a few of HB bundles especially if you want games from tier 1.

I've only bought the monthly once because I was interested in ROTR. Even though I don't like to take a risk for the games I will get in the end, you're right that the other keys can be used for such purposes. And of course I haven't stopped buying from them but as a whole, now I'm benefitting from Steam rather than HB or Fanatical.

I don't know I'm quite new at this and in the last year I... never buy something on sale on Steam (I guess? XD)
In the past years I check periodically Steam and buy almost only from there, but I ddnt know there were alternatives :P
Now I find the competion and the 1€ bundles so I'm lost *heropose
For the Black Friday-Cyber Monday I bought a lot of Idea/NISA games and all from HB or similar because were a little cheaper than Steam XD
I never refound a game so if the price on steam are not the best I find I just buy somewhere else.
I don't think the regional price problem is notice a lot in my case, gomen.

I understand. I hope everyone gets better regional prices, you will see the difference then :3

The regional price is so unfair where you live?
I just notice that on HB is better don't use the "instantly" buttom but insert everytime the card manually because I get a different conversion at the end (I think the "instantly" send the price in USD and next my bank do all the rest so I risk to spend few cent more > yeeeees I'm poor I've to check on cents XD)

South Asia region.
Yes I usually click on Pay with Card instead of Pay instantly with Card myself.

Even with regional price, sometimes a bundle pays off. Like with Carmageddon: Max Damage: even with 60% [Something like R$15], was cheaper to get on the Fanatical Max Damage Bundle, because the US$3,49 convert into R$12 something, and grant another games.

That's true. But at least the Steam prices remain the same all season long but the bundles remain only for a while.

Thank you for the ride, Fizzimizzi! ^^
I guess you know the answer already when I say that I can gift Steam gifts to anyone in the world but it doesn't work the other way around.

I'm glad you're the only person who pointed it out :D

The price will always drop at some point. So now I make it a priority to buy exactly that game which I will play ASAP so I don't regret it later.

We don't celebrate Christmas here so I thought better to giveaway a few games before that time because I'll probably see a lot more giveaways then rather than now.
In the last month, I'm mostly buying games through Steam and not HB or Fanatical because of the new regional prices. I mean why would I ever need to buy NieR:Automata on these websites if Steam is giving it to me for $12 (also including the 40% off from Autumn Sale). But of course not all games have reduced prices but as they keep on reducing prices for more and more games, it is becoming more and more uncertain to buy games other than Steam store itself. Even though Rise of the Tomb Raider was bought by me on HB for $12, in this autumn sale, the price became about just $7 or $8! IMO, I see no reason to buy bundles of games because lets face it, we only are interested in playing one or two games out of the lot and just giveaway games here. Well that's exactly what I'm doing so hop on the train if you like.
Start Here
One more problem that I'm concerned regarding SG that I should now be showed 20P for Nier:Automata rather than 50P because the normal price is $20 for the people of my region. But meh, that would be too much trouble to create separate points for every region.
