If everyone would get suitable regional prices for their Steam Store, would you still buy games from stores other than Steam itself?
When it comes to unbundled games, then mostly the regional price would be better.

You're welcome. Yes I agree on a global scale these webshops provide a healthy competition to Steam.

I'm in the U.S., so I'm already paying my "regional price." P

can't argue with that. I was indeed being restrictive with my discussion.

BUMP!
I always have no money.
But there is money + there is SALE + wanted games = buy XD
The reality is food expenses.🥒
By the way, "NieR" is also good. And "Okami" is also very good.

Agreed. I just look at the best price now, wherever I find it I buy from there.

I love Steam, but there are certainly reasons for me to shop elsewhere. GOG gives me DRM-free games, which I always prefer. Humble has the option of gifting games, and also sometimes gives DRM-free games.
Of course, I don't have better pricing through Steam than other sites. But I'm glad you do.
Where I won't buy from is grey-market resellers. I want to make sure that part of my purchase goes to support the developer that made the game.

Indeed you're right. I was only being restrictive to regional pricing.
And I've only bought through grey sellers once because it was ok to buy something whose developers are Bethesda ;)

They need to expand on the regional pricing even more. For example, here in Croatia we get EU prices even though our salaries are 50% lower than the EU average. IMO, regional pricing will surely help tackle piracy.

Yes even though I'm not from that region, I've seen discussions here about EU being not evenly distributed. I hope they expand the regional prices soon.

We don't celebrate Christmas here so I thought better to giveaway a few games before that time because I'll probably see a lot more giveaways then rather than now.
In the last month, I'm mostly buying games through Steam and not HB or Fanatical because of the new regional prices. I mean why would I ever need to buy NieR:Automata on these websites if Steam is giving it to me for $12 (also including the 40% off from Autumn Sale). But of course not all games have reduced prices but as they keep on reducing prices for more and more games, it is becoming more and more uncertain to buy games other than Steam store itself. Even though Rise of the Tomb Raider was bought by me on HB for $12, in this autumn sale, the price became about just $7 or $8! IMO, I see no reason to buy bundles of games because lets face it, we only are interested in playing one or two games out of the lot and just giveaway games here. Well that's exactly what I'm doing so hop on the train if you like.
Start Here
One more problem that I'm concerned regarding SG that I should now be showed 20P for Nier:Automata rather than 50P because the normal price is $20 for the people of my region. But meh, that would be too much trouble to create separate points for every region.
