... and then I felt quite stupid... how to open it ? 😕
That handle was a piece of plastic, thin and fragile, not a well-made robust thing...
...but anyway I was needing it every time I wanted my clothes back after washing !

Finally found a way to open it using a piece of metal in the thin gap to unlock the security ! Whooo hooo ! 🥳

But now ? I'm not sure I got the reference correctly to buy a new one, never replaced such a thing myself, and at first glance there's no youtube tuto for this model... others are showing I may need to completely dismantle the whole door only to replace the handle ?!?!?!????????
Seems risky: what if I can't mount it back after ? 😲

Would you please give me an advice ? Even a bundled one would make me happier in these dark times.... 😑

What should I do ?

View Results
Replace the handle myself (a few bucks and a lot of sweat)
Ask a repairman to replace the handle (more bucks but less sweat)
Remove '4' and '2' from 'AN4h2aB'
Add an 'N' at the end and of 'o' at the beginning of '9X2'
Create a 'ga' before the '1' in 'G1x'
Replace the washing machine (many more bucks, but washes sweat)
Wash potatoes instead (will they come out peeled ?)

Keep the broken handle, replace the rest of the machine? :3

Or maybe replace the handle with a potato (washed or otherwise)?

Maybe I will ask the NASA about it.
Maybe I should grow potatoes inside instead !

If that fails, you can always try asking the other Nasa!

Still opens with the thin metal though... I'd say it's not broken at all, it just works in different ways!

Sounds risky. If the handle also unlocks it, which is what I understood from what you said, trying to replace it yourself might be too risky. Try getting a repairman first and see if they can repair it and at what cost.
Either way, replacing the whole thing sounds like a waste. However, if the repairman says that they whole thing needs to be replaced, then I guess you can try repairing it yourself before getting it replaced. If you are able to repair it successfully, you save a lot of money, if not and you end up breaking it further, well, you were gonna need to get it replaced anyway, so all you lost is some time and efforts.

Hmmm... That's not the way it's made.
There's a safety latch, made with robust plastic and a spring in metal.
This latch is what goes inside the machine frame to close the door.
The handle on the door is another part, it moves the latch by pressing on it when someone opens the door.
And the lock is not inside the door, but inside the machine frame. It's a part made to block the latch in place, which makes the handle on the door unable to open it.

The safety latch itself isn't broken. Thus only risk is like you said losing some money and time and efforts.
I've ordered what I need to repair, but will receive that only next week.

That sounds really complicated. Seems you have decided to give a shot. All the best.
Let us know if you are able to fix it yourself.

Thank you 😉
But no manual on this site for washing machines of this brand, and since I'm French I won't order anything from the others !
I found what I need on French sites, except the technical manual, I only got the user's manual, but it's only the door so that's not really complicated.
The difficulty will mostly be my second left hand, so I will proceed with caution and hope everything goes well 😶

Glue something? I mean really glue it in place. If it was crappy plastic before, anything you glue would be fine?
