whats up with these itstoohard puzzles???

I prefer the classic puzzle method but that is just me. But in general I love puzzles they help me procrastinate more effectively.

I love the puzzles. You work a little harder and in return you get to enter a giveaway with increased odds of winning.

I was about to write a long comment but this is just too idiotic to reply to.

What's wrong with making itstoohard puzzles? People are giving away games for free, they can choose how they want to give it.
And what do you mean "puzzles nobody can answer"? Just because you can't it doesn't mean it's too hard or impossible.

I'm pretty sure you don't speak for everyone on this website. I enjoy the puzzle giveaways.

If you don't, don't bother entering. If you can't solve any of the puzzles, don't frustrate yourself by clicking on them. It's not your inalienable right to enter anyone's giveaway, simply because you showed up on the site.

Regardless of whether you can answer the questions, just be grateful that these people are giving away games at all, because that is the life-blood of this website.

Half the puzzles don't actually tell you what you're solving the puzzle FOR, or I'd probably solve more of them. I mean, I don't want to solve for a game I already have, that's just a waste of my time. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, I see nothing wrong with puzzles. Puzzles are fun!

I really don't see what's wrong with those hard puzzles. Even the ones I didn't even have a clue on how to begin with. You need to learn to accept that in life, people don't just always hand you stuff and ponies fly around in clouds made of candies. That's just it, people can decide that they only want to give their game to those who they feel did at least something to earn the chance to enter the giveaway. Plus, I'm pretty sure that even those hard puzzle makers occasionally make up some easy ones just because they wanted to give the chance to others who can't solve their puzzles.

I think more people should make It's Too Hard puzzles.

Just clicking a button to join a giveaway that costs points that you did nothing to earn is boring... At least with puzzles you get some enjoyment before you have the chance to win something for free.

I also find it hilarious that the only giveaways you made were for Dota 2... You've basically contributed nothing to this site and you want more out of it?!? o_O lol Wut?

These puzzles are annoying and overrated as hell, just create a normal giveaway. That's what the system was created for in the first place. At least that way everyone has a equal chance of winning.

I disagree. They're perfect. I've stumbled upon quite a few puzzles I couldn't solve, but when I check the giveaway and see there's entries, I know it CAN be done and that I should tackle the situation from a different angle.

I think you give up to easily. As many others said, these guys give away free games. What's wrong with making you work for them a little bit?

I think it increases your chances of winning, because many people like you don't like them and don't bother solving them. So, there are fewer entries, which means better chances.

Are there puzzles that no one can solve? There were a few I think, but most are solvable. It's a reward for people who put some work into getting their prize instead of just a random selection. If you are too lazy to solve one then you don't deserve it.

Well, there are a lot of puzzle-less giweaways here. Actually they're the majority so I don't know which is your point. If you don't like puzzles just ignore them. You have to consider that there are people like me that are here almost ONLY for the puzzles :)

You are all HIGHLY confused about what he is talking about. If I somehow get a giftable game/dlc, I will make a puzzle giveaway to show exactly what he means. On the off chance that happens, expect the usual retarded no-question questions that make up 99% of puzzle giveaways here, as well as a part 2 with intelligent questions where you are told if you need to answer character, game, developer, etc. If I'm feeling nice, I will make the answers to part 1 and 2 match up so you can finish the quiz, while at the same time seeing how stupid most puzzle makers are when they put a picture/quote without telling you what you need to answer with

I think it's so terrible you're being forced to solve them. Damn, they really should do an option that allows us to make a giveaway for everyone, right? But no, that mandatory puzzle rule is so unfair. And when you don't manage to solve it because NOONE managed to solve it, you get locked out of entering giveaways and can't win your so deserved games. NOOOO!

One of my best experiences on SG was the group it'stoohard puzzle with multiple phases and secrets that someone posted on mid year... So, puzzles are cool

It is fun :)

Most of the puzzles I see are either a bunch of garbled bullshit or some rather deep shit that you have to be a big fan of the specific topic or genre to answer.
