Hate to bother the community again...

well these 2 games are coming out
Crysis 3
Dead Space 3

Of those I would wait until the next time Steam or Amazon puts up the Dead Space games on crazy sale again and get those. You can get the pair for under $20 pretty regularly, occasionally even less.

Amalur is good but it is very side quest heavy. It is like a grown up version of Fable kind of. Crysis games are decent but there are so many shooters to choose from I don't think they stand out above really, if you are a big FPS fan it may be worth it though.

Borderlans 2 is the answer of all questions... prototype is great, is like GTA but you are an inmortal overpowered monster, pure fun
dead space is nice, is a good survival horror, the ganeplay is practically RE 4-5, it has a really good ambientation and it's fun, the guns are fun to use... i dont play kingdom of amalur, i really dont care about it, not my type of game... Crysys 2 sucks...
