A Kindle. I honestly didn't think I'd like e-readers but I ended up really loving the Kindle I got. I take it with me everywhere.

My laptop for my 13th birthday. It's great for homework and gaming.

Huh... well, I don't celebrate my birthday in real life(hint, a GA train is comming soon). So I get gifts at different moments and not all concentrated in one day.
Heck, I don't even remind people of my birthday untill a few days later so they can't force me to do a party or something.

All the people with their supercomputers and fancy sex toys... My best birthday gift wasn't like that. I got several gifts, but they made me more happy than some big-fancy-ninja gift. I got a bike helmet (Mine was pretty old and a bit broken), a jacket and some rocket made out of magnets. The rocket is still standing on my shelf. I use the jacket and the helmet really really often, especially during summer. I like the helmet because it's really really strong (Bell's helmets are great!) and the jacket because it's thin (?) and I can fit two 0.5 litre bottles and some extra stuff in just one pocket. It's really good to carry Mountain Dews with it (They don't sell bigger bottles here). Anyway, Your gift seems nice too, but I'm just not a reader type guy. But it might change, because I ordered 2 of "The Witcher" books and if they're good, I might buy the others and (if I'll get them cheap) read "The Chronicles of Narnia" :)

Can't remember anything "spectacular" to be honest. I think most of the time I got munnies instead of an actual gift. But the best gift I ever got overall would have to be a Line 6 Spider IV (an amplifier) I got two years ago on Christmas. :3

Three birthday presents of mine will never leave my mind: 1. When i got the first Harry Potter book from my parents, and the second from a friend.

2. When i got Pokémon TCG for GBC from my uncle.

and 3. When i got a brand new GBA-SP (AGS-101) and Pokémon Emerald.

actually, make that 4. A couple years ago when i got a brand new laptop and a whole day private boat ride in Stockholm, all while i was in the midst of clinical depression. I did feel grateful then, but even more so now.

Nothing. Why?
I hate to get gifts. Doesnt matter how bad or how good they are. I hate to say thanks to something. I hate to make someone a gift or wish him a happy Birthday because i hate the feeling to say thanks to something which i maybe dont like or whatever. When i have Birthday i dont WANT to get something because i hate it. When i have birthday i hate those Profile Comments on Facebook or when someone calls me because there is nothing special. People dont call me 364 days around my birthday too so? Because People wish someone a nice Birthday doesnt mean they are thinking about you.

Maybe im the only one with that opinion but i dont like the feeling to get a present because its Christmas or my birthday. Just have a great evening with Family like every other 364 days in the year. For me its nothing special and i dont really care of :-)
