MineZ, beta. (like DayZ but with minecraft)

its pretty much a zombie survival mod for Minecraft. (Also I put up vid about it)

"MineZ is inspired by DayZ. If you haven't played DayZ, it is a game focused on survival. Players start with a basic set of equipment and must manage their hunger, thirst, and health while avoiding the threat of zombies and players. Towns hold basic supplies, your bottles can be refilled with any water source, and there are more difficult military installations near the northern part of the map that will spawn much better gear. You will die. Everyone dies. But we track your record number of zombie kills, player kills, and zombie time, so bragging is encouraged.

The world is indestructible, but you can get/place cactus, cobwebs, and chests that you find. These items are destroyed when you break them, so you can't reuse them. Since every item in the game, less arrows, doesn't stack... inventory management is key. One bread takes up one space. Arrows are limited to 15 (a nod to the double stacked clip of a 9mm). You'll have to make hard choices on what you want to carry on you. Health regen is disabled. Eating food (besides zombie meat) restores a half heart. There are health potions that spawn in hospital type locations.

The map is hand painted and built. There is no PvP protection, but we do try our best to make sure you spawn away from another player. This is as hardcore as it gets. We'll make it easier if you guys ultimately can't find a good way to survive.

Oh - And the only mob is zombies. Zombies are faster than your normal walking speed, and only slight slower than your sprint. We've coded in a line of sight AI. Based on how you move, and if its night/day, they aggro based on whether you are sneaking, walking, running, or jumping. If you hide behind a wall, they won't see you. If you run through a door to try to lose them, they will try to go to your last known location to find you. They are ruthless. And you will die, a lot.

Similar to HCF, there are death bans, although only for 24 hours. The final concept will have persistence between servers, meaning you can join another server in the same location / same items, but you will have 1 life across all of these servers."

It could be better if it had cities or buildings scattered around here and there. In it's current state it's boring as hell.

Do they have servers that you know of...or not?

Yeah bandits sometimes are dicks...well most of the time lol. (max zombie have killed is only 4 lol) Anyways my user name loltonytony. (if you ever see me on, put the eye in 2nd slot, let me know if you want to team up or something)

That for the beta private server, the ones I put up are public.

Yeah, right it some what to much of pain to find food. (hope they do something about it) but I did find my first pile of food today.

The server I listed are free for the public. The $25 one is for the private server they have. (I guess I should put that the ones I listed are free.)

You are using the servers I listed right? This might be dumb question...but do you own minecraft lol? cuz I can get on...

Stop pirating Minecraft, that's what you should do.

Why? Because there are a lot of people that take Minecraft way, way too seriously.

I don't have problems at all on the servers. Got 17 Kills last time i played.

I'm from germany so my ping would normally be high on us servers, but not on these. everything works just fine.

I think they have Eu server, just never found out what it was.

Edit: I looked it up and seems to be eu1-public.minez.net , but so far cant connect to it. (not to sure on the status of the server)

I spawned at Romero without running into bandits and got a load of sick loot! But then became zombie dinner.
