Which of the following upcoming 3D platformers are you most excited for?

I don't really like 3D platform games. I find them... hard for navigation. They either evolve into "platforming adventure games" similar to TR series, or stay in pseudo 3D with a side view... and I can play them... but full 3D platformers like Mario 64 - no thanks. I know many won't like this opinion, but it's what it is.

There is nothing wrong with this, NB264. I feel exactly the same about some other genres.

Even when it came out, I thought MARIO 64 was overrated.
You're right, the best 3D platformers are mostly played in 2D (with slight 3D movements), with the occasional orientation adjustment

I love 3d platformers. 2d platformers, though, are not for me. Curiously, one of the games I played the most when I was a kid was Castlevania SOTN.

I really love 3D platformers, so this year already looks great - hope a lot will follow because of it.

As I am a fan of the old Banjo-Kazooie games and 3D platformers in general, I am very much interested in Yooka-Laylee. I'd put that ahead of Super Mario Odyssey by a nose right now, but that could change.
edit: the people here who think Super Mario 64 was overrated don't understand the history and the impact it had on the gaming industry. They are entitled to feel however they want as per their personal tastes of course, but there is absolutely no denying the effect that it had.

I'm overexcited for Psychonauts 2, but it's not in 2017. Still, all those long years of waiting and uncertainty are coming to an end ^_^

but srsy never made it past galaxy, and i dont think i have played any of the rare 3d platformer games.. :(, but good for those who like those games.

Yay! With Yooka-Laele, A Hat in Time and Super Mario Odyssey on the horizon, it seems that 2017 will be a great year for fans of 3D platform games.
