Red Storm Rising. Actually, it had a game...in 1988. But the setting is practically asking for osme great cold-war-era grand strategy title.
Also, screw "Game of Thrones;" The Pillars of the Earth is begging for a medieval RPG.

Do you think today's computers and today's game designers have what it takes to make Amber into a game?

I want a game based on Palahniuk's Pygmy. You can choose your pygmy, decide to either adapt to your host family or take them out, things like that.

both good. i wouldn't call the road browser game an actual game. it doesn't do the book any justice.

I would love to play a Skyrim version of Winnie the pooh.

The Mists of Avalon series in an RPG style. I know that there is already a King Arthur RPG, but Mists of the Avalon tells his story in the eyes of the women. The series, written by Marrion Zimmer Bradley, are some of my all time favorite books.

I think Bethesda would totally fail with Games of Thrones. They specialize in exploring RPG, where story and characters are in background (or even behind it). Just look at Skyrim and their Stormclocks vs Imperium with Dragons mixed in it, and how not important and invisible it is during most of the game (and let's not forget how easily heavily armoured and equipped Dark Elf can get to Ulfric Stormcloak, especially after hearing how bad they are treated in Windhelm...).

Heart of Darkness by Conrad would make a great adventure game...and so would many other Conradian novels.

Crystal Shade: Angeni (Epic / YA Fantasy). I would glady see this battle birdy in a game, so as everything else from this world.

I'm afraid part of the beauty of Non-Stop is that the reader isn't sure what exactly is going on for quite some time. This is something that the game would probably ruin, considering all trailers, cover info and previews... (BTW, in the US, some of the versions were published under a different name, which pretty much ruined it on its own. (It can be found in the book's Wiki article, but don't do it, unless you already know what the story is about.))

Yeah, the US title is a bit of a spoiler, but I don’t think that’s that big of a deal. You could come to more or less the same conclusion by reading the few first chapters. Besides, there are plenty of big surprises later on, and one could easily avoid mentioning them in trailers, previews etc.
