Giving Cuphead a 7/10, no matter the regard, is an insult I dont wish to see on my Steam profile.

If you'd cover specifically rain in games, I'd be all in. But who cares about all other forms of water? ;)

I remember playing NFS Underground (or was it NFSU2?) with the raindrop effect on screen. Now we almost expect all sorts pf things to splatter on our screen XD

Where are the wipers?! Hahaha.

Now that i remember, The Sims 2 had cool weather effects, but you didn't really expect to get thunderstruck while playing in the wet. :)

I have fond memories of the TOCA series. Never before tracks managed to look so wet, the sound of the tires on wet roads was excellent too. :)

I remember when Dungeon Siege first came out. That water was most impressive for the times.

A man of culture.

Ubisoft water gets a 10/10 from me, every time. Like Watch Dogs is 90% better if you just watch the water instead, trust me XD

How i mesmerise viewing the ocean from the waterfront, waves clashing with each other then they extend smoothly to the shore that the breeze of fresh air starts to flow through your lungs that you'd also wish to ride with it non-stop.😃

I'll pass as well.

I remember loving the way the water in Half Life 2 looked.

The group isn't loading for me, but having never met a self proclaimed video game water connoisseur I'm curious what would be considered the greatest game water of all time. PhsyX based maybe? If that even exists, considering how ridiculously demanding and stupid that would be :P

Nor many games really depict around water other than them focusing on the main point but Sleeping Dogs felt like a great way to thrash through the water and a mention for Senua's Sacrifice, at the intro, 😱

Subnautica and Depth actually come to mind if you want to continuosly roam through the deep waters.

Arma 3 has an excellent depiction of water (with gfx on high, anyway). I know of people who claim to get seasick watching it, and I would believe it.
However, I too am getting an error when I try to view the steam site.

Somehow, your link does not work for me ("No group could be retrieved for the given URL"). Pity, water in games always impressed me.

Here is an interesting PC Gamer article on this very subject.

Games which really impressed me with their water effects or graphics at the time:
-- Tomb Raider 1
-- Far Cry
-- Bioshock
-- Bioshock 2
-- Hydrophobia: Prophecy
-- The Vanishing of Ethan Carter

Cheers! :D

Just like everyone else, I'm getting an error with the link. Hopefully it gets fixed so I can join/follow

This is one of, if not the silliest group I'll be joining to date.

...That is, once OP fixes the link. Although at this point I'm considering the possibility that OP went to bed, sobered up, woke up, went to their computer, saw this and went "what the actual fuck was I doing last night" and deleted the group...
