Play TF2, DOTA2 and CS:GO.

If you're lucky you might gain around 5-7 bucks a month.

Selling trading cards is also a good source of funds too.

Buy games that give you steam cards and sell the cards, trade up in the forums for more cards/profit.

Dota 2 during events, $10 a day playing the whole day (about 10 hours). But it's pretty tiring and torturing :P

With TF2 you can just leave your PC idling, you will get about 8-12 drops per week, I don't know exactly how it decides how many you will get in a week but it's rare you'll get more than 10 in one week, then with any weapon you get just make it into scrap metal, any hats and other shit you get trade it for metal on backpack.tf. Once you have like 7 refined or whatever (rate changes all the time, gradually going up), you can trade for one key which you can sell on the market.

I have other ways of sure fire Steam wallet income but they're too lucrative and if I tell other people those opportunities will disappear. It's nothing special but let's just say I get any game I want when it comes out (or just waiting for it in a sale) and I haven't actually paid for anything with my own cash on Steam since last summer.

Buy CSGO keys for 1.80€ in game, sell them for 2€ in market, 5 cents profit, if you like to spend time on this.....

i would suggest buying lots of keys/gift copies of games while there are on sale and then either trade them for better stuff, or sell them to sites like steamgamesales after the price goes back up to make a profit.
