"Giveaways must start and end within the next 30 days, with a minimum time open of 1 hour."

This is what we currently have, don't you think 30 days is a bit too much to wait?

How about making the maximum amount of time a week or ten days?

I guess, but if you see most giveaways are done in less than 30 days. That's just a maximum timeslot.
