Preventing people without logged in accounts from seeing anything about the site may be the best way to reduce random people harassing and scamming site members.

Nah, he's not changed visibility, if you log out you can still see all the giveaways and who's won them.

How about instead it does not broadcast the actual winner of the giveaway until both parties state they have sent/recieved the gift. Only the person who started the giveaway will get the info.

Well there is no reason the person who won shouldn't know, I mean they are hardly going to steal the gift from themselves. Plus it can help a two way convo flow between the gifter and the giftee for example, if the gifter adds the person on Steam and the giftee doesn't like to accept random friend requests.

The winner would be notified also. I think I should have put that in there also. But hiding it from the public until it is all said and done is going to be needed.

That's basically the whole plan. The stuff is there. Just a bit of recoding and it wont post the winner to the public until there is a confirmed sent and received noted.

As seen from poor sayedstafa and his HIB3 going to a completely different person; I'm calling for the website to go into private viewing mode.
This may seem extreme but I believe the situation occurred because the scammer (who was supposedly banned from the website already) had publicly seen the name of the winner who won the contest and proceeded to impersonate that person.
This is definitely not set in stone but more of an idea for people to think about. Let's hear your opinions.
