So whats so good about this game?! I have no fucking idea other than the fact that its made by ARCSYS which means awesome character design, stupidly contrive stories AND MOTHERFUCKING AWESOME SPRITES.

also it will probably be region locked in europe and will probably cost a bomb plus the fact that a new version will probably come out a few weeks later but hey, ITS FUCKING ARCANA HEARTS ON PC AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I played the original on PS2 and honestly hated it. I'll stick to other series.

Well. . . the screenshots of the fighting leave me to believe no real support on resolution plus Skull Girls is on PC already and looks better as well as always adding new characters and have them be free for the first few weeks.

Hard to say until the game is release. It was originally made in 2009 so you cant really compare that to the more modern skullgirls. The promotion for skullgirls is also over with the release of robo fortune that is actually the last free character to be added to the game.

Ah I had no idea about that. Still really cool and I guess I'll hold out hope considering Grandia and Starwars KOTR 2 both have options they didn't have on release. I only played one Arcana Hearts game and it was fun so still going to see how this turns out before I decide if I want to buy it.

True, it is being port by arcsys and not a third party so things might be better when its release. BBCSE runs like a charm.

Steep learning curve though but once you get over it you will know why people go rabid over arcsys game, its fucking flashy with sprites everywhere. also music, them rock musics are godly.

Yeah, I'll stick with BlazBlue for now. If I start playing other fighting games I'll forget my combos, as if I didn't already.

Avoid it if you don't care for the moe factor and I have no clue how balanced it is for competition, but I loved Arcana Heart (Full) on PS2. The arcana in the title are special beings that you can swap between characters. Essentially, you can mix and match half of the moves. I'm hoping something good comes of Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX. =)
