Yeah, I guess the GBA FFVI is still the best choice.. I just finished FFX-Remaster and playing V right now (for the first time actually.. 3 and 5 are still missing on my "finished"-list) and thinking about another run of VI after that... but its a hard choice. I´d love to play it on Vita, but that would be the not-so-great PS1-Port. The GBA Version has its own flaws, but is probaply the best one yet.. but its hard to get for under 100 bucks (unless you take a pirated china-copy from eBay).. the iOS/Steam-Version would look promising, but the character-sprites are just so damn ugly.. maybe some modding-team will fix that problem, well see.

Eh, that is at least grindable within one save. In FFVIII I had to idle the game for 12 hours on an infinite fight loop because even if you literally grind everything, you still kill about 1200 enemies tops in a 100% play through. And the achievement was for 10,000.

That one is actually a secret achievement with no hints on getting it, but of course if you have SAM, you can look at the descriptions. :)
Funny enough, the achievements use very simple checks for everything, so, to be honest, after I realised the 10k one would literally mean just idling the game for about 80 hours straight, I save-edited it in. ^^' (Frankly, I think it is about as much of a cheating as getting the UniverSim achievements by system date manipulation.)

Cool. I loved Chrno Trigger (which hopefully will be the next port they release) and Sper Mario RPG, so it's kinda odd that I haven't played the other great Square RPG released around the same time, Ilooks like it will be fixed soon (unless the port has issues and then I'll find another way to play it).

As a person who drew Terra for the recent SG art event (I wonder how many people recognised the character), I can't really say no to the game. :) It's my favourite Final Fantasy along with IX.

I can't stand the new graphics, there should be an option to switch between graphics. Anyway, good to see the game is coming and I'll get it to support FF VI :)
This and the list of games leaked that included FF VI makes me hype!! Steins;Gate may be released after all!!
