Long time ago I played Titan Quest and loved it.

Same feeling with Torchlight, and still need to play second one.

What RPGs do you like it?

Rise of the Triad. It has 6 different kinds of RPG!

Jokes aside, I like the games where the world and story actually evolve based on your actions. Ie. most from BioWare, Obsidian & Bethesda but also stuff like Chrono Trigger and Fable.
That's where the Role part in Role Playing Game really works best.

Torchlight II features completely different classes, so be prepared for a culture shock. Still a great game.

I like console-style JRPGs (Final Fantasy 1-9, Dragon Quest 1-9, Golden Sun), tactical/strategy RPGs (Disgaea, Front Mission series, Shining series, Ultima 1-4), free-roaming Western RPGs (Ultima 5-10, The Elder Scrolls 3-5, Arcanum, Lionheart, Fallout 1/2/3/NV, Borderlands, Baldurs Gate to an extent), various Roguelikes (Angband, Castle of the Winds, Nethack, Dungeons of Dredmor, Sword of the Stars: The Pit) and hack-n-slash dungeon crawlers (Diablo series, Torchlight 1+2, Dungeon Siege, Nox, Dungeon Hunter on IOS). I'm also a fan of Everquest/WoW style MMORPGs (WoW, Champions Online, DDO, LOTRO), but the setting/interface/engine must be very polished to hold my interest.

There are also the puzzle/RPG hybrids such as Puzzle Pirates (also an MMO), or the Puzzle Quest series.

Finished Dark Souls few times. Just bought Demon's Souls and then the PS3 went YLOD - not bricked totally still working but need dozens of attempts before the PS3 starts to function. I think Demon's Souls much harder.

Diablo 2

Nox

Siege of Avalon

all the Fallout games except the one that's on on Xbox/PS2 because I haven't played that one.
The Elder Scrolls Oblivion & Skyrim. Didn't like Morrowind, probably because I got spoiled by the graphics in Skyrim.

Dragon Age Origins & DA2. I liked Origins better but Dragon Age 2 was pretty good, except the side quests in DA2 that take you to locations that you've already been to 20 times before.

The Witcher 2, I still wanna play the 1st Witcher game.

Mass Effect series, even the co-op multiplayer mode in ME3 is pretty fun.

I grew up with Diablo 1, Morrowind, Baldurs Gate and similar series.

I watched ME videos and it felt some cheap action game with plastered RPG stuff on it and a over produced trailer like it's demanded from a modern day market. It didn't pull me in the slightest as the game felt so cheap and the sales pitch felt quite...Hollywoody in a sense. Oh look at this flashy game, we pushed so much money into this that its a super awesome RPG suddenly.

After some years a little before ME2 hit the market I decided to try ME. I heard it was one of the more outstanding modern RPGs so I decided to check out if this gimmicky RPG that they produce for modern gamers has at least anything going for it.

Holy shit was I wrong. I would say Mass Effect is probably one of my highest ranking RPG's in my book. The story felt awesome, the character interaction amazing. Each individual companion unique and with his own reasoning. The Hollywood like cinematic cuts and camera angles felt like an interactive movie. It did have it's own faults with sometimes bad AI, cheap storyline at some parts and "filler" content that felt like they added half-assed just to draw some sections or storylines out but hoooly shiit. I

f you look at the game in full the fact that I underestimated this series so much made it such a great outstanding piece. The beginning of ME2 brings me goosebumps just thinking about it.

So I would just bring out ME.

My first role-playing game was Dungeons & Dragons (pencil and paper game) back in 1978. Shortly after that, I started working with the teletypes at school and discovered Adventure. Besides a few teletypes, our computer room also had one Commodore PET, so we played things like Dungeon and Pirate Adventure. I'm blessed to have enjoyed playing RPG's all these years.

Rather than trying to list all the types of RPG's I enjoy, I will list the one type I'm not so keen on. I never did get into the console craze, so the original Zelda was my first and last RPG of that type. I think I'm put off by how limited consoles are when compared to computers or full-blown videogame cabinets.
