Exactly. There's no such thing as a yearly released series worth calling a favorite, even in that category.

If you manage to create a sequel in a year it really isn't a sequel. If you can't figure out why then it doesn't matter for you.

Dude, I'm learning Level Designing atm with Cryengine 3, Maya and 3DS Max. You can't just make a game in a year. The games are in developement for 2 or more years. AC3 was in Developement for 3,5 yrs.

You can, but it's just small iteration or crap...

Exactly as Ekaros posted. My point was that you can but it really isn't a good sequel if you manage to make it in 12 months. 2 or more years is good. 12 months is a little strange, mostly copy paste "major update" releases.

really? cause the amount of problems with AC3 it seems more like they gave it a month.

I stopped paying any attention to X and Y after seeing the Pokemon. I compared them to Pokemon an 8 year old kid back in gen 1 days would draw on his desk at school. So far, all I know is that you can sit on benches, Eevee has a new evolution, Fairy type, Diagonal Movement, Hoardes, and Mega Evolution

Well when you do start, start with gen 2. It's the best one. Then go to gen 4, then to gen 1, then to gen 5, then to gen 3

Football Manager, I suppose.

Outside of the sports genres, I'm not sure there are that many genuinely annual releases though.

Though discontinued, I'd have to say Guitar Hero. Even though at the end it seemed to be twice-yearly:/

None; if they have to resort to sequels it means they can't create something really original - or they created a very large universe that they need more than one game to exploit and that's good, albeit rare.

ive found that annual sequels means a decided drop in quality.
