It's free but a credit card\paypal is required.

It's cool because it includes dlcs, but it's too expensive imho.

Any way of trying this without payment information?

Did anybody subscribe to it ? because when i want to subscribe i must pay 1 Euro. I thought its free. Do anybody know why they want 1 Euro ?

I activated Uplay+ and found that there is nothing for me to play.

PSA: to cancel you need to wait at least 30 minutes after you sub

edit: I guess I already own everything I wanted to play in Uplay, other than Farcry 5 and Origins. Meanwhile the M$ Gamepass has a lot more I am interested in.
It's is interesting because different pages from the sign in process list different prices: either 1e or 0e, 14.99e/month once the offer expires, or 1e a month (explaining it's 12e a year). I think this last one is plain wrong. If that is the case, it is a really good deal, but 15e a month for ubisoft games it's quite a stretch, in my opinion.

YEAP , the took 1 Euro from my card even after all the billing tells you it's 0 euro

Even my order e-mail address says it's 0 EUR/month but my card deducted 1 euro.

I used paypal and it told me $1 CAD + $2.4 tax(WTF?!) = $3.4 on the paypal page, clicked pay and the next page ubi told me confirmed "$3.4 $0.00" No activity was shown when I checked paypal itself and nothing was deducted( I used balance). Either it hasn't shown up yet - which is likely - or it didn't deduct.

If you can and want to use their service, I do recommend Valiant Hearts and Child of Light to play. They are really good and relatively short, playing and finishing them is a good use of a free period (same as with testing games)

If you have and use a Uplay account, note that a lot of the + games have easy to complete challenges good for XP and U units. Play a few rounds of Uno and Monopoly then convert the U into a store discount or new gear for the games you already own.

Any titles actually DRM-Free?

for anyone wondering, they don't actually take the 1€, it is free, just don't forget to cancel by the end of the month if you dont want to be charged...well, its 1€ a month for now, so probably not the worst way to spend that ammount

Not available for Argentina I don't know which other SA country is on the same sack but appearly it can be passed via VPN, I'll try it.

Edit: VPN working got my Uplay+ with the last AC :D

If you have a payment method (CC / Paypal) that you already used before to buy a game or dlc from Uplay then they won't need to deduct that 1$/€
