What do I do when im cursed with Dota 2 keys?

Ask Steam support nicely to remove them from your inventory.

DOTA 2 is like rabbits having sex. They self-perpetuate. Do not gift them; better to destroy them.

I don't understand how valves giving out these keys... At first they were supposed to be given to players who played the game as a sort of incentive. I've played since one of the first batch invites was sent out and I've played for 300+ hours yet someone with 2.2 hours gets invites and I don't. (Not that I really need them at the moment, it's just nice to have one on hand in case I find a friend in need) Confuses me a little.

You have to sacrifice a virgin under the full moon with a silver knife to break the curse.

If you then proceed to have sex with the dead body the curse will transform and Valve will start to send you extra copies of Skyrim instead.

I'll just leave them next to the SMNC invites.
