Don't think that's the way it works.

In any event, gifting beta keys is strictly prohibited here except for certain named exceptions in the rules. Guns of Icarus is not one of them, and, if I am not mistaken, it is one that is specifically named as NOT allowed.

If I had won your giveaway, I would not mark the gift as received either: you did not deliver the game, nor do you deserve contributor credit for a beta key that violates the rules.

Im pretty sure you only get the game and beta with a preordered copy from steam. Not with the beta keys.

Not true. The game actually costs real money. Beta keys were given away free to anyone who could be arsed to fill in a simple form on the interweb. Some people did this multiple times, and harvested beta keys. You know the rest of the story...
